I have been struggling with a persistent yeast infection for quite some time now.
On Thursday, my doctor prescribed two boxes of Diflucan, which consists of 150 mg fluconazole capsules, one per dose.

I took the first capsule this past Thursday and planned to take the second one in a week.
However, I am facing a bit of a setback, as my symptoms actually subsided yesterday only to reappear again today.
Does anyone here have any personal experience or insights regarding the effectiveness of Diflucan?

So, I actually took Diflucan back when I was dealing with a fungal infection on my toe. I think I was on it for maybe three or four weeks? But I had to use it alongside some other meds and a topical cream too. After that whole thing was over, everything was totally fine—the fungus was pretty much wiped out!
Just hang in there until you finish the full course of treatment. If it doesn't do the trick, maybe you can extend it or try something else later, but honestly, these things just don't work overnight.
