Every time I boot up my laptop, I get hit with this error message: "The catalyst control center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter please update your ati graphics or enable your ati adapter using the display manager"

Just wipe those drivers completely and grab a fresh set—just make sure you download the full package, excluding the Gaming Evolved version.

I think we could use a slightly more detailed explanation than that.

Head over to your Control Panel—or Add/Remove Programs, whatever you call it these days—and wipe Catalyst from the system. Once that's done, grab the latest version directly from the Intel site.

If you aren't quite sure what hardware you're running, just use the "automatically detect" feature.

When you opt for a custom installation, I'd recommend installing everything—the control software, the drivers, HDMI support, etc.—but you can probably skip Gaming Evolved.

I can't seem to track down any sign of Gaming Evolved anywhere

When I hit that "automatically detect" button, it just gives me this error: "We are unable to find a driver for your system."

Which version of macOS are you running, and what’s your specific graphics card model? You can grab the exact details by pulling up a tool like GPU-Z.

I'm running Windows 7 32-bit with an NVIDIA GeForce series card, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to grab the drivers from http://download.cnet.com/ATI-Catalys...-10608736.html or if I should just stick to http://support.amd.com/en-us/downloa...Windows+7+-+32

From what I can gather, the official website doesn't even list Windows 7 drivers for that legacy series. You actually have to hunt them down under the integrated motherboard graphics section, since the notebook category only goes back as far as the HD series.
