I can't get a single song or video to play on my PC.
I have no idea what's going wrong. I've got Adobe, Java, the whole works installed.
I try to go on YouTube, and it just throws an error every time I attempt to watch a video.
I can't even manage that! Something went sideways with the media all of a sudden.
How do I fix this?

I'm pretty sure this boils down to an issue with the sound card or its driver.
Can someone please help me out here?

Maybe if you could let us know which specific error you're running into, someone here might be able to lend a hand...

I’m leaning toward thinking this is a driver issue. Does anyone know of a site where I can find free drivers for my PC that will automatically detect what I need? I know something like that exists, I just can't remember where I saw it last.

Maybe try opening the file with a different application instead.

You could also try reinstalling VLC Media Player.

It might be worth running a full virus and malware scan on your computer...
