Audio issues

Greetings. I am experiencing an audio issue on my PC; the sound lags behind the music and sounds excessively deep and distorted. It seems some audio settings from a game I was playing carried over to my system settings. Even after uninstalling the game, the issue persists. I have attempted to navigate the sound settings, but I am currently at a loss as to how to revert everything back to normal.

So, how exactly were you tweaking the audio settings in-game? Could you walk me through the whole process? Were you using some kind of third-party software or something else entirely?
If you head over to the bottom right corner of your taskbar—you know, where the system tray is—and right-click that little speaker icon, then hit "playback devices," what shows up there? What’s currently set as your default device? Are we talking standard desktop speakers, or are you running something more specialized?
Also, honestly, just doing a quick reinstall of your audio drivers might actually do the trick—it's worth a shot!
