First off, hey everyone—sorry if I’m posting in the wrong spot, I probably should’ve stuck to the specific sub-thread for this.
So, this all started about three weeks ago when I was sleeping on the couch with my head propped up at some weird, awkward angle... Not that I chose to do that, obviously, but I’ve been juggling two jobs at once and staying in the living room was just better because of the AC...
Now, for the last three or four weeks, I’ve been feeling absolutely trashed. I don't even know how to describe it, but right now, as I'm typing this, my shoulders are hurting so bad I can barely keep my hands on the keyboard. I’m constantly twisting my neck from side to side, and I can't focus—it's like my vision is acting up too.
I’ve been rubbing on some Voltaren cream, but it's just a temporary fix. I even went for a massage, which helped for a tiny bit, but then it just goes right back.
Honestly, I have zero motivation left. I just feel completely wiped out (pardon my language).
I went in for blood work and everything came back PERFECT, but I still have absolutely no energy.
To clarify, I'm 27 years old, so it feels incredibly strange to have this happen to me—like my body isn't even mine anymore. I feel like I can't control anything; sometimes I even get this weird sensation that my left leg is shorter than my right. 😢((

If anyone has dealt with anything similar, please, let me know. Any advice at all would be huge right now.
Thanks so much in advance.

They’re going to scan the cervical spine and the brain.

Hey there. My mother-in-law is 80 and dealing with some pretty intense lower back pain. She’s already had three injections, but honestly, nothing seems to be helping much. We’ve been giving her Advil, which eases the ache for a little bit, but then it just wears off after a few hours. I guess we’re just stuck. She’s constantly in pain, and since she can’t even get out of bed on her own, we have to help her to the bathroom. Should we be pushing for an MRI or something? It feels like once doctors see an 80-year-old woman, they just stop trying to actually do anything...

Got my bloodwork back and everything looks solid. I had an X-ray done on my cervical spine, and they called me to tell me over the phone that I’ve got lordosis. I haven't actually picked up the physical films or sat down with my primary doctor yet—just kind of hitting the ground running with whatever info I can get—but there it is. Honestly, I’m not dealing with the extreme stuff some people mention, you know? Like the vomiting, the vertigo, the blackouts, or losing your balance... none of that. Everything actually feels a little bit better since I spent two nights sleeping on my side without a pillow—not sure if that helped or hurt—but I’m still struggling with light sensitivity, this weakness in my neck, fatigue, exhaustion, and my legs just feel heavy and achy. Anyway, if anyone else out there is dealing with this or has any ideas or experiences with similar issues, please reach out. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to tackle this whole mess. Thanks.

Here’s the latest update.
I went in for an EEG, a color Doppler, and some carotid artery scans—everything came back totally normal and clear.
In the meantime, I’ve been slamming B-complex vitamins and magnesium, but honestly? They haven't done much for me.
I also tried going to a chiropractor and finished six sessions; I could say things started feeling a little better after the last two—just temporarily, though—but now I’m dealing with this rib pain that I’m pretty sure is from the chiropractor cracking me.
So, basically, everything else is still the same. The fatigue is still there, my muscles (arms and legs) are aching, and my vision gets blurry sometimes—plus my eyes feel exhausted.
All of this just makes me feel like garbage. I’m constantly drained, and my throat keeps acting up—this mucus builds up and leaves me sounding a bit hoarse.
And don't even get me started on how much my muscles (specifically my triceps) hurt while I'm actually typing this out.

I’m really looking for any advice here. If anyone has dealt with anything similar, how did you handle it?

Thanks, everyone.

You should really try sitting down and watching a tennis match in an arena, just really locking in on how they move and play, or even a high-stakes table tennis tournament

So, I swung by the doctor’s office today to finally get some answers. Regarding this whole situation with the pain, the constant exhaustion, and that weird blurry vision I get sometimes—he actually gave me a referral for an ophthalmologist, so I guess we'll see what's going on with my eyes once that appointment happens. As for everything else... man, the last few months have been rough. I've knocked out two bouts of strep throat, and then just three days ago, it hit me again—weakness, runny nose, sinus pressure, aching legs, tingling in my feet, the whole nine yards. My doctor basically told me to just stick to taking B-complex and Vitamin C. But here's the kicker: I've already been taking those exact supplements for months, so if that was supposed to be the fix, why am I still feeling like garbage? I finally sat down today to actually read the labels, and I realized the Vitamin C I've been popping is only 180mg, and the B12 in my complex is a measly 3.7 micrograms. I started looking stuff up online, and apparently, when you're dealing with this kind of burnout, you're supposed to be hitting 1000mg of Vitamin C and at least 1000mcg of B12. Honestly, I'm just lost at this point—was my dosage actually that pathetic? And if so, why does the pharmacy even bother selling this useless crap in such tiny amounts in the first place?
