I’m just sitting here hoping the journalists aren't being their usual unreliable selves, because I actually heard this exact intel two weeks ago from a guy who’s been running circles around the front office. Honestly, I’m holding out hope for an official denial from the club on an expedited timeline.

I'm wondering if he ended up in pretrial detention or something...
It feels like the media just swept it under the rug, even though we're talking about an attempted murder here.
Thank You.
From what I understand, the shooter was held in pretrial detention for 30 days, much like several other BBB members during that period following the derby and in recent weeks.

Just let those disgusting freaks out of prison already! Seriously, screw you and all these pathetic little meetings!!!!

Look, any kind of compromise with the big boss right now is basically a death sentence for this group—so quit the mindless chatter and stop feeding into those media provocations meant to trigger him.

I cleaned up your post a little bit.

I guess I don't really get why he even bothered meeting with them in the first place...

I honestly can't wrap my head around why he even bothered meeting with them in the first place...
Whatever, I suppose this will at least give the media something to chew on over the next few days regarding Zack, specifically how he runs things behind the scenes and his supposed influence within the FBI and the court system and all that.
I really hope this mess—and those bandwagon fans on the West Coast who seem to be backing that wreck—finally realizes that the group and the CDC are strictly fighting for a club that actually operates with some transparency.
In a weird way, this whole meeting actually works in our favor, since it just sends another signal to that guy that there's absolutely no room for compromise.
My only real regret is that nobody was secretly recording the whole thing, haha. 😁😁😁

Is there going to be some kind of joint push from the CDC and BBB to get more people signed up for the club? It’s pretty much a core principle here—one member, one vote. It would be a shame to let everyone lose interest when we could be bringing in a few hundred more members than usual.

If there's any truth to this, I really hope they were running voice recorders...

I just wish the rest of the mainstream media outlets that aren't basically government mouthpieces would catch on and start reporting this stuff too. But I don't get why the management over at the local pro team keeps dragging their feet like this for years on end. Why don't they ever jump on these issues when they arise? It’s hard not to wonder if they're being paid off by 🤷
.
It's not about them getting paid; it's just that the whole country is a total mess right now and the only thing they seem interested in enforcing is those ridiculous laws targeting hardcore fans. For everything else, they couldn't care less.

Since our whole "one member, one vote" principle relies on having numbers, it feels like we should be doing something to boost engagement and sign up a few hundred more folks than usual.
Do we really need to go out and beg people to join?
In my opinion, if you actually care about seeing this club improve, joining is just part of the job... sure, a big media push wouldn't hurt, but I don't think we should have to drag everyone by the arm to get them to step up.
REAL MADRID WITHOUT MAMIĆ...

I believe it is the responsibility of anyone who desires a better club to simply become a member. While a media campaign would certainly assist in that effort, one should not have to drag everyone along by the sleeve.
Joining Mamić’s organization, and handing over both money and personal information to him, is hardly a top priority for most people.
We have seen several initiatives where membership drives failed to produce results, and it is quite obvious that Mamić used those funds to purchase yet another Mercedes.
If this is truly our only available solution, then the whole situation is a lost cause—and I am certainly not interested if it requires going down that road.☕

As far as I can tell, they’ve probably repeated it a hundred times by now, but it’s always crucial—for a million different reasons—that fans actually sign up as official members of the club. All this talk about money being used for some cheap one-night party with a local band or whatever? That’s just a bunch of flimsy excuses... The truth is, the CDC commissioner is being directly blocked by the club from enrolling anyone else, and there was a call ages ago for people to just find other ways to join up and get their names into the database anyway.
