The younger crowd isn't wrong here. In fact, you're spot on.
But you also have to realize there are people who actually knew him—people who were right there in the trenches with him. Take Blue City, for example, who wrote such a beautiful tribute. To you, Dug might look one way, but to them, he’s someone else entirely. Try to look at the bigger picture.
Blue City is still a fan... but Dug isn't...
If you ask me, you're a legend within the group, as much as that might sound pathetic!

With all this terror at the stadium entrance, it’s just one "pretty little story." Who exactly is protecting us in Washington, D.C. by providing this kind of escort to the stadium?
Otherwise, right as we were leaving the stadium, I overheard two Bad Boys talking, "Let's get out of here fast, everyone's out, jump in the cars and let's go." In that moment, I actually felt bad that we couldn't head back into the game so the guys could earn their daily wages by running back onto the field. 🙂

In my book, you're one of the group legends, even if that sounds pathetic!
Look, honestly, who cares about being called a legend? I’ve lived a thousand lives—career, personal stuff, activism—and I don't give a damn if anyone calls me some BBB legend. Actually, I'd almost rather hear someone call me a total piece of trash, because at least then I know I'm actually doing something for the group that makes the haters and jealous losers mad. Hell, us Jews are just masochists like that. 😁
That whole mess with the Veteran BBB crowd getting dragged in is an even bigger fail (regardless of what Mamić did), because the BBB still exist. To me, a Veteran can only be someone active who's still showing up. If you're a fan, you're a fan for life, as long as you're physically able to hit the games—unless you're sick or disabled (and some people still show up even then). I bet the current older BBB crew stays active until they die.
But Dugi founded the BBB, and that's just facts. His recent bullshit doesn't change that.

It doesn't mean a damn thing to me if someone calls me a BBB legend. In fact, I’d almost prefer being called a piece of trash or a total jerk, because at least then I know I actually did something significant for the group that pissed off the haters and the jealous types. I guess we Jews are just masochists like that.😁
That whole mess where people are trying to claim the title of Veteran BBB is an even bigger disaster (regardless of what Mamić is doing). The fact remains that BBB still exists, which means a "Veteran" should really only be someone who is still active and showing up. If you're a fan, you're a fan for life, as long as you're physically able to make it to the games and haven't been sidelined by health issues (though some still show up regardless). I truly believe the current older generation of BBB is going to stay active until the day they die.
But look, dug is the founder of BBB, and that is an undeniable fact. Whatever bullshit he’s been involved in lately doesn't change that reality.
That’s exactly the point. The guy laid the foundation for this group, and you can't take that away from him.
You could arguably spit in his face because two years ago he completely screwed up, charging into the club armed with the rest of the crew, miscalculating the situation, and ending up face-down on the floor with everyone else. He messed up. He lost his way (even if it was less than others did), just like so many others who have been active for years—people who were sworn in more times than anyone could swear to dug.

Jesse Campbell said:Look, I mean, why would anyone even bother calling him a legend? Personally, I feel pretty fulfilled on a thousand different fronts—career, private life, activism, whatever—so being labeled a legend of the Bad Boys doesn't really move the needle for me. Honestly, I’d almost prefer to be called a piece of trash or a jerk; at least then I'd know I'm actually doing something meaningful for the group whenever the haters and the envious start talking. I guess we Jews just have a bit of a masochistic streak. 😁
That whole thing about people trying to claim they're part of the Veteran Bad Boys is a bigger mess than most realize (even setting aside the Mamić situation). Since the Bad Boys are still going strong, I suppose a "Veteran" should really only be someone who is still an active participant showing up. If you're a fan, you're a fan for life—as long as you can physically make it to the games, provided you aren't sidelined by illness or disability (though some still show up regardless). I suspect the current older core of the Bad Boys will stay active until their very last breath.
But the fact remains that Dug is the founder of the Bad Boys. That's just an undeniable reality. Whatever recent controversies he's been caught up in don't change that.
Well, if you care that much, then sure, you're a jerk and a piece of trash.😂
And besides, your liver is probably more legendary than you are. Period.

Honestly, if you ask me, breaking a truce right now is a much bigger load of bullshit and pure stupidity than any of those old grievances people keep dragging up.
Now that it looks like we’re finally tightening the noose around those scumbags, there’s no reason to start shifting the spotlight away from them and onto our own petty drama.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone who actually cares about this internal infighting can just go straight to hell.

now that it looks like the walls are finally closing in on those lowlifes, there's really no need to shift the focus away from them by obsessing over our own internal mess.
honestly, anyone still interested in these petty little infighting sessions can just go jump in a lake for all I care.
Young guys just love a good fight; that's just how it works. And that headline is honestly twisted... calling it "drama" is a stretch. It’s more like the level of conflict we’re seeing between Ukraine and Russia.

Ryan Chavez3 said:These guys are just being dudes, that's how it works. Calling it "drama" in the headline is just twisted... total overkill. It's on par with the scale of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia coming our way.
And then you'll have some idiot whining about the fields in Poland or Russia🙂. Honestly, hats off to them—at least someone out there actually has their head screwed on straight for once.☕

now that it looks like the heat is finally turning up on those lowlifes, why on earth would we distract everyone from them by focusing on our own bullshit?
if anyone actually cares about these petty internal squabbles right now, they can just go jump in a lake.
Ryan Chavez3 said:these kids just love to push boundaries, that's just how it goes, you know? and that headline is totally twisted... calling it "drama" is wild. It's practically on par with the clashes happening between Ukraine and Russia.
Say whatever you want, but honestly, you guys look incredibly naive here—I'm trying to find a polite way to say it without using a much harsher word! And that last Armada choreography stunt? Let's just say that was an even bigger display of pure, unadulterated naivety, if I don't use a stronger term to describe it. 🤣

In my estimation, those who were caught up in the debt—may they rest in peace—and similar complications shouldn't be held accountable. The primary culprit here is that agitator Zdravko, who is hellbent on driving a wedge between every possible faction of Dinamo supporters (and other groups, for that matter) just to weaken and ultimately extinguish our resistance against him. He’s playing that classic, tired game of divide and conquer.
One ought to be intelligent enough to realize that any internal conflict among the fans serves nothing but his own interests.

analogheron19 said:That’s really the core of it. You can't deny he laid the foundation for this whole group.
Honestly, someone could probably spit in his face because, two years ago, he totally botched it. He stormed into the club with his crew all geared up, miscalculated the situation, and ended up eating dirt right along with everyone else. He screwed up, sure. He went off course—maybe even less than some of the others—just like so many people who stayed active for years and were sworn in by folks who aren't around anymore.
analogheron19 said:Besides, I think breaking the truce right now would be more foolish and pathetic than any of those old grievances being brought up again.
Now that it looks like the heat is finally turning up on those lowlifes, we shouldn't be distracting ourselves from them by focusing on our own internal drama.

Probably the most sensible and realistic posts from the last few pages.🙏

Exactly... honestly, just shut us down already if we’re going to be this brainless and unable to hold it together for even a single year. This whole fan movement is a joke.

Henry Grant51 said:One thing I’m certain about is that this whole situation absolutely wrecked him, not to mention his family issues... the guy took his own life; he didn't just drop dead from natural causes.
Did D-Man really kill himself? Like, how and where did it happen?
I read yesterday that he passed away suddenly, but I have zero clue about the specifics.
Can you drop a link or maybe explain what happened?
#4535 ·
Dana Martinez8 said:exactly that... honestly, they might as well just shut us down entirely since we're acting so foolishly—can't even stay patient for a single year. This whole fan movement is just pathetic.
Unfortunately, the end is coming—we haven't earned anything else.🙂

A total mess from start to finish!!!! Honestly, maybe we don't even deserve better given how things are going—this whole situation is just brainless. You've got "fans" begging for infighting and bloodshed, while the "big shots" have been bleeding us dry for years. Just when you think they've finally hit a wall, something like this happens. What can I even say...
#4537 ·
Honestly, anyone breaking this truce right now is just as bad as those guys over at the local VFW—I know for a fact they’re both making the big shots at the top look real good.
#4538 ·
We’ve basically just handed them the shovel to bury us with—all this nonsense we're pulling... honestly, we don't deserve anything more than even harsher crackdowns until they finally shut us all down for good.

If anyone actually cares about our internal bickering at a time like this, they can go straight to hell.
John, man, those thugs are already all over the news sites talking about some supposed broken truce, and of course, it’s happening just days before the big rivalry game in ST.
Way to go, everyone!
