Just remind us which party actually won the elections in Chicago and your county...

It’s easy to act like a monolith when your opponent isn't sitting on two billion dollars, backed by the police, the courts, an entire city, twelve consecutive league titles, slapping rivals, and five Champions League trophies. Our current project at Hajduk Split was essentially born from a handshake between a few visionaries and Kerum, who basically handed over the club because he thought it was going under and wanted to wash his hands of the whole mess. There aren't any legendary moves we've pulled that haven't also happened in Chicago, but what I wrote above is really the bottom line. I don't mean that in a bad way; I'm just saying there's no point in getting worked up over these things, regardless of which side you're on.

Ryan Chavez3 said:No, she simply saw a crowd that was far too large to mess with or try to fight against.
cosmicridge6 said:You’re talking about cooperating with the police? That’s rich coming from someone who was busy hiring protesters and cutting deals behind the scenes with Antolic... you’re honestly a riot, acting like there’s some big organized group or club involved here.
Dennis Davis97 said:Of course, that’s why we got rid of those vultures... just a bunch of nobodies who don't even show up to the games. Some of them are just living off their parents, which is pretty typical for that specific wing of the Republican voters... anyway, they're an insignificant group.
And nobody talks like that back in the South either, so your argument doesn't really hold water.

Charles Chase4 said:You all had plenty of time to establish a solid membership structure before the pressure was on to raise a hundred million dollars to gain actual decision-making power within the club. Some things simply need time to evolve and mature, for heaven's sake.
brisktrucker2 said:That’s true enough. But when you claim that being homogeneous is somehow an easy feat, you’re essentially brushing aside the sacrifices made by those who stood their ground against the old guard at Hajduk Split. They fought their own battles to secure a win back then, and let’s be honest—it wasn't nearly as effortless as some people here seem to suggest.
As far as everything else goes, I think we’re pretty much on the same page.
brisktrucker2 said:True. But I guess when you say "being homogeneous is easy," you're downplaying how much people actually fought against the leadership at Hajduk Split back then—they actually won that fight. And no, it wasn't nearly as easy as some people here are making it out to be.
As for everything else, we're mostly on the same page.
