Jesse Collins47 said:Everyone’s whining again, but hey, we still have the derby coming up. Honestly, I found it hilarious how they managed to come to our city all these years without much friction. It’s high time we bring back those old-school tensions. It'll be great when Sidrun posts a picture of the hinterlands—that hasn't happened yet. Every single inch will be contested because GNK is still causing chaos just like always.

There were mountain peaks once, but now everything is just gray under the shadow of the hinterland son. 🎉

Enough joking around. There's a crowd of agitators again. They were loud a few times before, let's just hope their little outlaws don't run off into the woods like those "legends" who are actually just remnants from the 1941 era. Then everything will be fine. 👏

We move forward. Same old story: fighting against privatization and the corporate takeover of our GNK. 👍

Republican-Democrat idiots, get lost! Get lost with your anti-fascist nonsense, your old dictators, and your generals like Tuđman. Leave us and our club alone. Stop messing with privatizations and all that other stupidity. This club belongs to the people; it isn't yours, it's ours.

Screw that old regime and their anti-fascism. That's exactly why you guys are the way you are. You probably acted all patriotic just to prove you were the best Americans, but no anti-fascist is going to stand on their tiptoes and suddenly become a true patriot just by changing the name of Dynamo. A piece of trash stays trash, no matter what you do with it.

Every third American seems destined to be an idiot or a traitor. Watch yourselves, brothers. When you least expect it, someone close to you will stab you in the back. Whether they follow the old party line or some corrupt tycoon doesn't matter—don't trust anyone but yourself. And always keep a pocketknife handy; you never know when you'll need it. 😁

As for those fans from the coast, you can take all the trains in the world, but it won't matter since you have neither the refs nor the money. 😁 Your slogans are useless without officials and cash. The guys from the South will take the championship; there's no music without money. Your cosmopolitan attitude and little parties won't save you. 😛

Just stirring the pot a little. I feel like it today. I’ve been running into anti-fascists and certain political types lately, so I'm venting. I'm just going down the list based on my mood. 👍 The important thing is that everyone gets their fair share of insults and a beating. These are just internet hooligans, nothing like the real deal in Rotterdam. 🎉

What a joke 🤣

I have to give a massive shout-out to everyone who showed up at the North Stand yesterday; that atmosphere was absolutely electric! We truly showed those jerks what real loyalty looks like. For two-thirds of the match, they spent their time hurling insults at Dynamo and the Purger faithful, but our supporters stayed focused, singing our hearts out for the club from start to finish. They aren't even in our league! :klap:

as they say:
huge shoutout to everyone who showed up at the North Stand yesterday—the atmosphere was absolutely electric! We really showed those jerks how real fans act, especially since those bastards spent two-thirds of the match insulting Real Madrid and The Purge. Meanwhile, our guys in the North were backing the club almost the entire time. They aren't even in the same league as us. 👏

I don't know how often you head out to the stadium or how many old-school derbies you remember, but honestly? Yesterday felt pretty tame compared to how things used to be.

First time back in the North Stand since the boycott back in 2010, and man, I have to say—I’m genuinely surprised! Usually, during a massive derby against our biggest rivals, you feel this pressure to go toe-to-toe with their supporters, but honestly? For the full 90 minutes, I was just right there in the thick of it, shouting my lungs out alongside the guys in my section. Everyone around me was singing and making some serious noise, so being part of that atmosphere felt incredible. Aside from a few moments where the chanting split a little, the energy was solid most of the time, and we hit some absolute peaks of euphoria. I can't speak to how it looked on TV or what the vibe was like elsewhere in the stadium, but after being away from the stands for so many years, I’m more than happy with how it went. Those Bad Boys... well, even though I couldn't hear them clearly, looking over at their section, it seemed like most of the noise was coming from the group right around their main banner, except for maybe a couple of instances—but hey, it's hard to be objective when you're stuck up in the North. Also, I noticed a lot of kids who weren't just busy taking selfies for once and were actually cheering for the whole match. For me, that was a really pleasant surprise!

Can someone please walk me through what they mean by that whole "sending cargo" phrase being thrown at people? I'm lost... feel free to hit me up in a DM if it's easier to explain privately.

Usually, during a massive rivalry match like this, you expect to spend the ninety minutes trying to drown out the opposing supporters, but instead, I spent the entire game right in the thick of it, shouting alongside my fellow fans. Everyone around me was singing and roaring; it was intense, and being part of that atmosphere felt great. Aside from a few moments where the chants clashed, the energy was more than solid, even hitting some incredible highs during the most euphoric stretches. I can't speak to how it looked on TV or the general vibe throughout the whole stadium, but having been away from the stands for so long, I’m thoroughly satisfied. As for those guys in blue—even though I couldn't hear them clearly—looking at their section, it seemed like most of the noise was just coming from the group near the main banner, though it's hard to be objective when you're stationed in the North. I also noticed quite a few kids who weren't preoccupied with taking selfies but were actually cheering for the full ninety minutes, which was a refreshing change of pace for me.

In this video, you can clearly hear how loud we were making noise up in the North section.😉

The guy probably wrote this from a fan's perspective sitting right in the middle of the North Stand. He wasn't tucked away in a corner, so it makes sense he wouldn't hear things the way you and I did... not until maybe the 80th minute when the whole South Side kicked in and the noise leveled out. Honestly though, there's no point in having these debates. They don't go anywhere...👍

As if anyone can actually dominate every single inch of the stands for the full 90 minutes. I’ve got a few clips from the east side, taken right from the midline, where you can clearly hear the Bad Boys shouting. So, what's the move now? My colleague was right—this whole debate is just a waste of breath.

The barrier worked out fine for you guys.🙂

I just uploaded the video because there is really no point in critiquing the cheering of other fans when you’re standing right in the stands and the crowd is going wild.

Just some food for thought. During the game against the Dallas Cowboys, flyers were being handed out all over the stands, including instructions telling people not to film or take photos from the North Stand. On top of that, anyone who ignored the notices or missed them entirely was being given extra warnings. I’m not saying everything was perfect right away during such a huge derby, but I want to point this out as a positive example of how things should be handled. There will always be outliers who don't follow the rules—sometimes out of pure ignorance—but when it comes to education and setting standards, you can never stop trying.

The setup in Section 15 is way better than what they have at the Dallas Cowboys game. It wasn't half bad, but honestly, there’s massive room for improvement if they want to actually level up.🙂

I was right in the middle of the North section—where the chanting never stops—so honestly, I barely heard a thing unless there was a break between our songs😉
Thinking back to one of those big rivalry games before the boycott years—back when the lower North stands were absolutely packed—I have to say, the atmosphere now actually felt even better than back then. Mind you, I was hanging out more toward the east side at the time, and I remember almost nobody around me was making any noise except for a few scattered moments. But this past Sunday? I practically "had" to cheer along because, man, the sheer volume from the majority was just constant thunder🙂
That’s the kind of raw energy I’ve been missing all these years... I actually got goosebumps the second that first song kicked in🕺

The true state of affairs regarding the North will become crystal clear during our next home games against Cisco and California; you won't see more than 400 or 500 people in the stands there.

It doesn't really matter, as long as the cheering stays at roughly this level... and without all those selfies and random phone pictures everywhere.

It’s definitely an interesting attempt, I guess. You know, sports fan culture... it really acts as this perfect little mirror for certain civic and cultural values that can actually appeal to a much broader audience. But, look, once that whole fanatic subculture starts bleeding outside its intended boundaries, that's when things get messy. That's when you basically need to bring in the sociologists, the psychologists, the anthropologists—all those folks. You need some kind of systematic mediation to dig into why things happen, how they unfold, and honestly, just learning how to deal with the fallout. Because, let's be real, tomorrow doesn't care about what happened yesterday. All that's left are the consequences... and us.
