Of course not. To be perfectly honest with you, the idea of celebrating goals scored by the modern version of the Lakers never even crossed my mind. Honestly, I don't think that's even the point, because if we start dissecting every single detail, you could find something to complain about in absolutely everything. If we went down that road, we’d eventually conclude that the only "right" thing to do is to just wash our hands of the whole mess and hand the club over to someone else—which is a conversation that could apply to pretty much any team or supporter group out there...
That was never an option for us. Or what, a total boycott? Given the society we live in, that would probably just last forever. And for what? Just so everyone could feel completely satisfied with their ideals while someone else feels satisfied too?
It's hard to claim anyone has all the answers, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My take is that for the survival of both the team and the group, the BBB needs to be in the stands, living that true fan life. Whether they happen to be cheering, celebrating, jumping around, lighting flares, or wearing blue or black shirts... in essence, those details are irrelevant and really only exist to fuel debates like this one. The war isn't over, but it isn't fought with the same tools or methods for its entire duration. Besides, as people have been pointing out, there are plenty of new faces in the stands. And you can definitely still find a lot of the old guard at Indoor Soccer matches. One day, the conditions will be right for them to return to the North Stand. If we lived in a normal country and a functional society, we wouldn't even be having this debate, but the BBB is the least to blame for that.
I'm not even a member of the BBB—far from it—but it genuinely makes me happy to see the group getting stronger, seeing the local chapters grow, and hearing the roar coming from the stands. That is the foundation for a better future and real change.
