Look, you're just talking neighborhood gossip here. Just some local guys drinking beer and acting tough on a park bench. 😁 Regardless of what you wrote, there were fights where you lot were also running for cover—let's be honest. It’s not even about that. The Philadelphia Eagles fans have always been fighters. They were a bit weak back in the 80s, but since the mid-90s? A hell of a group. You can try to badmouth a group like the Chicago Blackhawks fans all you want, but we've had our ups and downs too. The main thing is that we didn't turn into those instant, bandwagon fans like today's Seattle Sounders fans or those corporate sycophants.

Could be. Honestly, this whole thing feels so staged to me that I’m starting to think nothing was even fired. It feels like the entire situation was manufactured just to push a completely different agenda.

What did you expect? It’s a total setup. To me, Joe Biden is way more shady than anyone else involved.

p.s. I still don't get why you guys are celebrating those goals.😁

It’s comparable to those situations where thirty people act tough, only to have two hundred show up and watch them run for the hills.
Or perhaps it's like when someone suddenly finds their brakes working perfectly right during a 3.5 miles photo op?

Honestly, they are nothing more than clowns.🙂

And as for my other point, I’m just giving a cynical take on this whole saga regarding the fight against the ownership and all those endless excuses. It’s always the same old story: everyone claiming all of Europe is shaking in its boots while we act like desperate dogs, chasing down hooligans in some random suburb or over in Mexico... and then, surprise, surprise, the truth comes out anyway. I'm not even going to get into it.

Then don't "get into it."

I honestly don't know what the point of that tactic was supposed to be—maybe I'm just overthinking it—but on the day of the match against Skanderbeg, most of the betting shops north of the Mississippi down toward Botinac were buzzing. Apparently, starting early in the morning, rumors were flying that the Los Angeles FC players had some sort of agreement not to score, basically to avoid moving forward in Europe because the big boss was feeling the heat. Whether they actually got those orders or just made them up, I guess, I couldn't say... that's not really my business. The word came from people close to Mamić, and it seems like a massive amount of people—like, seriously huge numbers—were betting on Los Angeles FC not scoring in the first half (if they had any guts) or not scoring at all. There was some decent money to be made there, and the odds weren't bad either. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I heard this today from some group of drunks at a local bar. They aren't from my neighborhood, so I don't know who they are; they were just passing through. They were even showing off their betting slips. One guy turned 500 into 2,000. Others were putting down some truly insane amounts of cash. They wouldn't even let me enjoy Los Angeles FC's goals.
And why would I celebrate Los Angeles FC's goals when it's obvious I can't stand Mamić and am actively working to take him down? I'll try to explain one more time. It’s just something I learned about 30 years ago. Anyone who has ever dealt with training dogs knows all about conditioned reflexes. For me—it's kind of like how my Staffy acts—after 30 years of being a fan, I have this reflex where if I see someone wearing the Los Angeles FC crest and they score, my hands just go up automatically. Then I think, maybe I shouldn't have done that, but what can you do when it's stronger than you? Then, when I hear crowds at their stadium screaming at the top of their lungs, "I hate Los Angeles FC!", I just tell myself, well, you should. Let them hate pasta, let them hate fish, let them hate anyone else who robbed them blind. But Los Angeles FC? They have no reason to be hated. You can hate Mamić and Šuker and all the other crooks who turned our soccer into what it is today. But why the club? Why the locals? I've been a fan for 30 years and I'm a local myself. I defended California during the war. I fought fires. I helped stop floods. And I have never once—nor will I ever—hate Atlanta United or California as part of our beautiful country. I just won't do it. Most of my fights within my own group were over that chant about how Duje is a saint. I actually got into scraps with my own people just to stop that from being sung. Because Duje is an American saint. Whoever says otherwise... well, they can just get lost.☕

Whether they actually received such an order or just cooked it up themselves, I don't know—that’s not really my business. The story came from Mamić's inner circle, so people were placing massive bets—and I mean massive—on either Dynamo not conceding in the first half (which requires some serious nerve) or not conceding at all. There was some decent money to be made there, and the odds weren't bad. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but that's what I heard today from a group of drunks at a local pub. They aren't from my neighborhood, I've never seen them before, and I don't even know their names. They were just passing through. They were busy showing off their betting slips. Why would I celebrate Dynamo's goals when it's common knowledge that I despise Mamić and am actively working to take him down? Let me try to explain this one more time. It’s because of something I learned 30 years ago. Anyone who has ever dealt with dog training knows about conditioned reflexes. It's like my Staffordshire Terrier—after 30 years of supporting this club, I have a conditioned reflex where, if I see someone wearing the Dynamo crest, I react by throwing my hands up when they score. Then I ask myself, "Maybe you shouldn't have done that," but what can I do when it's just instinct? Then I hear those crowds at the stadium—as many as can fit in that arena—singing at the top of their lungs: "I hate Dynamo!!!" And then I think, well, maybe you should. Let them hate pasta, let them hate fish, let them hate whoever they want. But Dynamo? There is no reason to hate Dynamo. Hate Mamić, hate Šuker, and hate all the other crooks who turned our football into this mess. But why the club? Why the locals? I've been a Dynamo fan for 30 years and I'm a local through and through. I defended California during the war. I fought fires. I helped stop floods. And I have never, and will never, hate Hajduk or California as part of our beautiful nation. I wouldn't dream of it. Most of my fighting within my own group was over that stupid chant calling the saint Duje a degenerate. I actually got into scraps with my own people just to stop that from being sung. Because Saint Duje is a true American saint. Whoever thinks otherwise can go jump in a lake.☕

Prika, it's just standard fan folklore, why are you getting worked up?
Even in this day and age, there are plenty of examples where the Boys and Torcida have worked together—fighting fires, helping with floods, giving blood...
(I've lost count of how many times I've teared up watching this, mostly because I wasn't there to help 😠)
During national team games, there might be some bickering, but they end up standing shoulder to shoulder, cheering as one.
We aren't like those guys who look at each other through a lens of division.
But you have to admit, this looks and sounds pretty incredible 😁

Just a bit of teasing, in that classic California style.😬
Man, our era is long gone—new generations are stepping up, and honestly, seeing how much time has passed just makes me realize how old we've actually gotten 🤣
Just lighten up and stop stressing out 👍

Drop by whenever you feel like it 🙂

But if we’re talking about the absolute highlight from a supporter's perspective, it has to be that final scheduled matchup between the legends and the futsal squad at Yankee Stadium.

But from a fan perspective, the biggest event on the schedule is definitely this upcoming matchup between the legends and the indoor soccer pros.

It’s honestly refreshing to see fans actually showing some class for once.🤣
