It’s an easy call for the group, because we’re definitely showing up regardless... It is just a real shame, though, considering everyone was banking on a turnout of several thousand people.

Is it even freaking possible that for the last ten years, every single time we actually needed to step up and take action, the timing was just absolute garbage??? Like, seriously. It happens every single time.

I'm talking about home games here; away games are strictly for the hardcore ultras. Supporting your own club and your own city shouldn't be its own isolated subculture; it should be the common ground where all those different groups actually come together.

Look, Washington, D.C. is way too big for just one club of this scale to monopolize everything. Any talk about "mass appeal" is honestly just wishful thinking—it’s never going to happen, period. That’s what happens when you try to take an organically grown club and its fanbase and force it into some top-down, socialist-style project meant to manufacture "national unity." It just doesn't work like that.

Rough job, city folks—unfortunate, truly..
You’re just spinning your wheels again—making the same mistakes—only this time you're failing even more spectacularly than before.
We need a radical shift regarding the youth—we should be training them as guerrillas instead.
Those golden enemies have to bleed out in the streets—because there simply isn't anyone else left.

Honestly, if you look at it from this specific angle, it actually looks much better... 🙂

Hahaha, that guy in the goofy sombrero is easily the highlight of the whole protest.
The way the news crews kept him at arm's length... you have to wonder if those plainclothes agents were actually working to keep things from escalating.
Man, what a character. Ahahaha.

As long as people are hunting for the right angle, you know you're screwed.

This whole thing is a myth and has zero basis in reality! It isn't the BBB group that’s failing; it’s the club itself that's in trouble—there is a massive distinction there.
There aren't casual fans in our section, whether we're at North Maksimir or out on the away end.
That’s not on us; it’s a direct result of the current mess left behind by the club's management.
The BBB group has just as many active members as they did during those "glory days" you all talk about; it's just that there's nobody else left to fill the stands...

If there’s one thing I’ve learned sitting in the stands, it’s that I couldn't care less what some random guy in the stands thinks!
Is it just me, or did anyone else catch that kid waving around a Real Madrid rag from Kyiv? He held it up a few different times.

It's not our fault, man—this whole mess is just because of how much the club is currently rotting from the inside...
The BBB group still has the exact same number of hardcore regulars as they did back during those "glory days" you guys talk about, it's just that nobody else shows up anymore...

So according to you, you guys basically planned to call a specific headcount yesterday for the protest—basically just the die-hards from the stands—and you don't even care about the regular supporters? Well then, why the hell was there a mobilization effort all week then????!!!???? If that's the case, just make a private group on social media for everyone who showed up yesterday and tell them where to meet a day in advance. The way you're doing it just ruins the point of the flyers you put out; you're acting like everyone should come, but reading between the lines, it's clearly only meant for the "active" crowd.
You gotta respect everyone in your section—reactivate the old guard and win over the new kids. Of course you're gonna be struggling and outnumbered if you think like this, blaming everything solely on the club's mismanagement while ignoring your own attitude...

Richard Cox said:It seems you intentionally called a specific number of people to yesterday's protest—specifically just the active supporters from the stands. You don't seem to care about casual fans or anyone else. If that's the case, why bother mobilizing all week? Just create a private social media group for everyone who showed up yesterday and notify them a day in advance. By doing this, you are simply ruining the flyers you distribute; those who actually read between the lines will realize the invitation was strictly for "active" members only.
You should value everyone in the stands. Reactivate the old crowd and win over the new one. Naturally, you will end up confused and outnumbered, lacking any public impact because of your mindset that this is solely due to club mismanagement.

What's your bench press?

If that's the case, then why bother with a week-long mobilization effort? Just set up a private group on social media for the folks who actually showed up and give them a heads-up a day early. The way you're doing it just ruins any sense of urgency in your calls to action; between the lines, it's pretty obvious this was only meant for the "active" crowd.
I say value everyone in your fan base. Re-engage the old guard and win over the new ones. Of course, you're going to end up being clueless and outnumbered if you stick to that mindset—thinking this is strictly about some internal club mismanagement rather than building a movement.

So basically, you make a profile just to comment on yesterday's protest... and suddenly we're all screwed.

Otherwise, you're just wasting all those flyers and posts you put out; if people actually read between the lines, they'd realize you're only looking for the "active" core.
Look, you need to value everyone in your section. Re-engage the old guard and win over the new ones. Of course you're going to end up feeling lost and seeing low turnout if you stick to this mindset that it's strictly a matter of the club being run into the ground.

What happened yesterday was anything but a "small turnout" for a single supporter group. The protest was meant for every Real Madrid fan who stands against this administration, but people just didn't show up because it was pouring rain. Make no mistake, though—the potential for a massive, overwhelming turnout is absolutely there.
And honestly, this group is going to stage a "protest" at every single away game moving forward, because our legacy isn't for sale!

I value everyone in my section. You should reactivate the old guard and win over the new generation. Of course you're going to be left in the dark and stuck with low turnout if you think this is solely about some internal club grudge.

Man, try reading with a bit more comprehension.
I wasn't even talking about the protest itself, but rather the current state of the BBB.

It’s honestly hilarious how much people love to dig up old posts from outsiders on this thread just a few times a year whenever there’s some big, loud drama surrounding BBB 🤣🤣🤣

Every time I try to offer some actual constructive criticism, all I get back is unhelpful nonsense—but honestly, I shouldn't be surprised... And yeah, I set up this profile specifically to chime in on what's going down over here, just like you guys do with our stuff back home.
Keep those recap posts coming!

I’m with you there, fellow supporter. Honestly, I just don't get the rest of the crowd on this forum. After I got back from the protest, I quickly tossed my damp gear onto the radiator, sat down at my laptop, logged on here, and was actually hoping for some sort of constructive commentary from the supposedly more intellectual brothers down South—all in the interest of improving the current state of our group! See, since you know as well as I do that we’ve fallen behind and haven't quite figured out how to recruit old hands or fresh faces on our own, I’m curious why it didn't occur to you that those flyers and posters plastered all over town aren't really an invitation to "other fans," but rather a nudge to the guys in our own circle who still haven't mastered using the internet!
Thanks for everything!

Yeah, sure, the banners and those "calls to action" for other fans are all well and good—but let’s face it, your numbers are still tanking. There was a time when this group was legendary across Europe, the kind of crew that left no survivors... I mean, even Russians would clear out when they saw us coming, and the Poles would just throw in the towel without a fight. Back then, even local cops were pulling fake sick days just to make sure they could support the BBB. Now? You guys are folding because of one damn rainstorm!!! And you're seriously trying to tell me those filthy banners are why nobody else is showing up?
I mean, come on—if 37 boycotts and the exact same calls to action haven't worked, is it really that hard to realize that maybe this method just isn't hitting home?? Maybe try changing the material of the banners? Try silk next time—they're easy to clean, though you might want to watch the weather forecast!!
Bottom line: change your strategy, not your gear. Start reaching people through actual mainstream media. You've got plenty of loud, smart mouths in your own group who could do way more to stir the pot in the public eye than some old rags ever could.
And hey, thanks to you and your crew for the donated banners, I guess.
