Probably because it’s closer to home for you all. 😁

What kind of town was that? They basically occupied the whole place—fifty of them crammed into a downtown bar, completely surrounded by SWAT teams. It was all quite the spectacle last night; they were making huge scenes, acting tough and trying to intimidate anyone in sight—but only when they realized they could get away with it. They’d only move in small groups of two or three, or even just single individuals, just to stay under the radar.

feralwolf51 said:What kind of "control" did they actually take? You had maybe 50 of them at some downtown bar, completely surrounded by riot police. They were acting all tough last night—picking on random kids or just anyone walking by—but honestly, they only dared to move in groups of two or three, sometimes even solo, just because they were scared of being spotted.

Hahaha, "acting tough"? Please. There aren't even a hundred of you guys total. Seriously, if you actually tried anything, a local branch of the Bad Boys would have shut you down before you could even blink.

Man, take a chill pill. You guys aren't even on the radar.

Why would you assume they're being dishonest? We’re talking about what is arguably the most decent group in the country—they hardly ever post anything online, yet they've proven themselves countless times through their unwavering loyalty whenever things got heated. It isn't easy being a die-hard fan in a small town, especially when you're part of an active group where everyone knows your face.

I mean, we’re talking about probably the most decent group of fans in the country—the ones who stay out of the online drama more than anyone else. It isn't easy being a die-hard fan in a small town, especially in a place where everyone knows exactly who you are.

I'm with him on this one.

Plus, if I recall correctly, there hasn't been a single US national team match—from friendlies to the World Cup—where they weren't showing up...

(Sorry for going off-topic here, but if they actually wanted to talk about themselves online, they could have just started their own active thread)

I don't think he's full of it, but I'm just as convinced that you guys aren't actually on such friendly, semi-formal terms with most other groups—to the point where you end up getting disrespected even in your own backyard.

Grijesis, we’re looking at maybe 11 or 12 of us when we actually get together to support the local teams—whether it's the big rivalry games or just showing up. We still aren't even close to being on the level of the top tier Ultras in Europe, who—since they've run out of actual things to do—have started acting like walking parades, glorifying the idea of 40 or 50 guys just strolling through downtown under heavy police escort. And honestly, feel free to go ahead and ask yourself who those "informal connections" of yours actually benefited over these last two days. You could ask the Bad Boys, who were busy running the streets the night before, or you could ask the guys hauling the gear—who, in my opinion, actually know what they're doing!

And hey, feel free to go ahead and ask yourself who those "informal connections" of yours actually helped over the last two days. You want to ask the Bad Boys who were running the streets the night before? Or maybe the hardcore fans (who, let's be honest, at least know what they're fighting for!)

Just don't even bother talking. 🙂

I'm not really sure about all that (just my two cents, anyway).

The posts will probably get wiped regardless since they're more about the Ultras than anything to do with BBB, so we might just be spinning our wheels here...

It is quite
surprising how much weight people now give to these "keyboard warriors."

"They took over the city and dominated downtown." Okay, hold on—how exactly did they "take over"? And by what metric are we deciding they "dominated"?

I don't mean to be blunt, but you're really struggling to connect the dots here, aren't you?

You could ask the Blue Jays, who were roaming the streets the night before, or the heavy hitters—who, in my opinion, at least know what they're actually fighting for.

It’s a waste of energy to argue; just let them keep typing away... Cheers, 🙂

They showed some real guts for our friends down South. Proved that Jesus was on that hill, so who'd dare cross him? Ultras live forever, don't they?...😁
