Banned for hate speech and trolling

I believe it’s entirely inappropriate that a user who has been repeatedly entering the right-side chat just to provoke others hasn't been properly penalized for hate speech. Failing to act sends a terrible message to the rest of the community.

The individual in question was issued nothing more than a warning for trolling. In my view, this moderation choice mocks the entire chat and the Mohicans who visit these virtual spaces expecting a level playing field and consistent rules.

So, here we have hate speech being brushed aside as mere "trolling" before being swiftly deleted. Fortunately, I captured it. I am now calling on the administrators to review this penalty and handle the situation appropriately. My issue isn't with the specific ban, but with the blatant inconsistency in moderation; insults directed at America and Americans aren't being treated with the same weight as other categories:

I saw the post and archived it, but I also caught yours—the one where you were looking for a card and mentioned you’d saved it just in case. It looks like you edited it right before I wiped it, which is why I didn't archive the moderator commentary. We had an agreement that if I missed any rule-breakers on a thread, someone would shoot me a DM. So, that particular post was entirely redundant. Rest assured, I saw the report too. I saw everything.

You know as well as I do that people wander off-topic sometimes; it’s nothing new. Someone getting lost isn't an attack on anyone. As for your take on whether his other post constitutes hate speech—that’s your interpretation. It wasn't directed at anyone specific. In my view, it doesn't qualify, but I'll leave the final call to the higher-ups.

And you know what’s funny? You don't bother reporting the rule-breakers whose style doesn't bother you, yet you're quick to flag the ones who do. I suppose I was being naive, thinking we were all using the same yardstick.

It’s honestly just plain insulting—calling someone "sick" like that is low, even if you don't like them.

But man, looking at how things are headed in America, we’re basically following exactly what John Newman predicted... it feels like it's only a matter of time before this whole country turns into some kind of ultra-religious, monolithic cult state.
