So, regarding the Cyclist in Los Angeles thread, one user called another user an idiot four different times.

It’s also very likely they’re using a second account to call people names on that same thread, so please keep an eye out for that.

Generally speaking, there’s a lot of unnecessary trolling happening in that discussion, especially since the rules regarding specific topics are pretty clear.

Everything he said is spot on. I mean, if you can't handle someone else's perspective, maybe just don't jump into the debate at all? Honestly, I was out driving on this dimly lit road around 6:00 this morning and I almost hit a cyclist in Los Angeles who didn't have any lights on whatsoever—and I was following the speed limit perfectly fine. It feels like these people making all that noise through their little advocacy groups are basically just mocking the law. And I really think those who actually follow the rules aren't the idiots here, no matter what anyone says.

Look, this is just your run-of-the-mill troll comment. You see plenty of them on threads like this—people making sweeping generalizations instead of actually contributing anything meaningful to the conversation.
