Best electric shavers?

I need some advice from the guys here. Has anyone actually found a decent beard and mustache trimmer that doesn't pull the hair out, irritate sensitive skin, and actually get the job done?🙂 Maybe I'm asking for too much. 😁

It's for a gift, and I don't want to look like an idiot by giving him something cheap.

Most of these shavers aren't even built for guys with thick beards.
