I am seeking some assistance in my search for a new laptop. My primary requirements are reliability and an extended warranty period. I have previously used a Dell, which served me quite well, but it has finally reached the end of its functional life. I have no interest in gaming; my usage will be strictly limited to web browsing, streaming movies, and word processing. Since I will be spending several hours at a time looking at the screen, a high-quality display is essential. While macOS would be preferred, it is not a strict necessity. Additionally, the ability to pay in installments is important to me, as is a sleek, aesthetically pleasing design.

What are your thoughts on these two options:

Thank you in advance.

If you're looking to pay in installments, check out the prices at different retailers—I put some links above. They can vary quite a bit depending on where you shop...

These are solid laptops. Brand new Dell models, sleek design, and great battery life. One comes with macOS and a standard screen, while the other features an amazing 4K OLED display that’ll be much easier on your eyes during long sessions, even if it doesn't have macOS pre-installed.

Make sure to post the specs on NMWT forums... 👍

Thanks for the reply! I haven't had a chance to actually look at the screen yet, but the keyboard feels incredibly smooth and responsive. My old laptop has a 4K screen. It’s decent, but after a few hours, my eyes start feeling the strain... So moving up to a 4K OLED really makes sense, especially based on the reviews I've read online. Prices at other stores are roughly in the same ballpark, but Best Buy offers financing through Applebee's for up to 24 monthly installments—just enough time to cover the entire warranty period...😁
