Best photo editing software?

So, I’m looking for a little bit of guidance here—I really need a solid recommendation for a program that lets me reshape and tweak images, but I’m trying to steer clear of Adobe Photoshop or CorelDraw for this particular project. Basically, I’m hunting for something where I can actually modify specific parts of a photo, or if you think it's better to just stick with Photoshop, I would absolutely love it if someone could drop a link or a tutorial showing me how to pull that off!🙏

what's a good (and easy) way to cut out some background clutter from a photo?
just nothing like Adobe Photoshop, that stuff is way too much for me 🤣

It is a pretty decent little tool... which offers significantly more functionality than Microsoft Paint, yet remains much more approachable than Adobe Photoshop for those who find the latter a bit overwhelming.
The internet is absolutely teeming with tutorials for it, if you ever feel the need to learn.

Google Picasa - this is also quite a handy option for editing, organizing your library, and sharing your photos online.
