Best software for iPod?

I'm looking for a program that can extract songs from an iPod. I can put them on Apple Music, but I need something that lets me transfer them directly to my computer. A friend mentioned a specific tool to me, but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Does anyone happen to know which one it is?

I mean, what exactly is shareware? You aren't going to get very far with that approach, I suspect. Your best bet would probably be to just grab it via a torrent or some other P2P method.

There are actually free options out there like Spotify—they’re perfectly decent and incredibly easy to navigate. I personally stick with it.

I’ve been using some kind of iPod...it looks identical to Apple Music, but in my opinion, it's designed to achieve the exact opposite effect.
