Best software for Titletown subtitles?

I’m looking for a straightforward, quick tool to hardcode subtitles into a video file. I tried using something like Sub2DivX, but it’s giving me grief because the format selection is way too limited. Does anyone know of a better alternative that actually offers some decent options? Thanks.

PocketDivxEncoder (takes about 15-45 mins to burn everything in)

AVIAddXSubs (quick one, maybe 3 mins)

Format Factory (you're looking at 30-50 mins)

Auto Gordian Knot (this one drags... 60-90 mins if you're lucky

Avi Recompresor (about 45 mins I guess)

just mess around with them and see which one doesn't drive you crazy 👍
