Best software for writing math equations?

Is there actually a decent program out there for cranking out math expressions—you know, powers, subscripts, fractions, all that stuff? Right now I’m stuck wrestling with Microsoft Word, and honestly, it’s a total time sink. I can’t even figure out how to properly nest exponents inside a fraction or handle subscripts without losing my mind. Does anyone know a tool where I can just type out the math and then copy-paste the whole thing into Word later?

If you happen to have a disc for the Bureau suite lying around, just pop it into your drive and install the Equation Editor... Take a look at this link right here...

With the Equation Editor, you can pretty much build whatever you need, though it does take a bit of getting used to...👍

Thanks, josey. Honestly, I’ve already got that handled—my mouse finger is actually starting to cramp up from all the clicking. I stumbled upon this killer free program recently; it’s super fast at registering everything and just straight-up copy-pastes right into Word. It's called MathCast, so if anyone's looking for a shortcut, give it a shot.
