It has been quite some time since I last frequented this forum, so I feel a certain degree of hesitation in asking for a favor, yet I find myself in urgent need of a film title—or perhaps just the director’s name.

I recall seeing it on NBC; it was a stylized erotic horror where some sort of creature (resembling a wolfish entity) preys upon beautiful, curvaceous women in some remote, isolated village.

Does anyone happen to know what this might be?

P.S. It isn't Wolf Brotherhood; the tone is far more campy than it is suspenseful or tragic.

I had no idea that was even considered a genre

I am telling you, the film is purely an artistic endeavor. At times, it borders on being almost a parody. 🙂

I'm not sure if there's an official classification for it, but plenty of horror films lean into erotic themes.

There are definitely movies that push those elements further, like Haunting Desires, Scarlet Countess, or Peeping Tom.

Maybe you're thinking of the Wolf Pack... that's different from Wolf Brotherhood (which is set in modern times). I saw it ages ago, but I remember the line, "Don't trust a man with joined eyebrows; he's a wolf." 😁

If I recall correctly—it might have been playing late at night somewhere about two years ago—I think the title was something like The Beast.

Isn't the film just magnificent? 🙂 I occasionally find myself thinking back to that brilliant little kid, but whenever I ask anyone about it, they seem to have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about. To be honest, even I was misled by the language; I spent time searching for it under French cinema, only to realize the director is actually Poljak. 🙂

It’s really not even that weird when you think about it. I remember seeing a few of Borowczyk's films pop up on NBC back in the day... I distinctly recall catching his Immoral Tales during some random late-night slot once...
