Has anyone else actually talked about this movie? 😕

Just watched it for the first time today—it was great seeing Emmanuelle Seigner again in a Roman Polanski film (reminded me of her first time working with Harrison Ford in New York City). 👍

It’s a brilliant breakdown of male-female dynamics, featuring a few subtle BDSM undertones early on. Honestly, the first half is way stronger than the second.

We actually touched on this back in that thread about the last movie everyone watched, mostly because it had been playing on cable for months without anyone mentioning it.

Anyway, it’s scheduled to air again this Friday night (Oct 28) at 1:20 a.m. 🙄

It was a decent enough film, though I found the gun scene at the end to be rather poorly executed... then again, Polanski frequently fumbles his depictions of violence—much like that brawl in Ninth Gate—so it isn't exactly a shocker.
