Bluetooth headphone issues

Greetings,

I am encountering an issue pairing Bluetooth headphones with my PC.
I purchased an ASUS adapter, but whenever I connect the headphones to the computer, the audio begins to stutter and crackle after about 5 to 10 minutes, making it virtually unintelligible.
The headphones function perfectly fine on both my laptop and my phone.

Is this a fault with the computer itself, or is it the adapter?

Try plugging the adapter into your laptop first and see how it performs. 😁

Just one more thing I wanted to mention—it looks like Windows is acting up because of the drivers. Try reporting it as just headphones (no mic attached) instead of a headset combo. That should clear up those interference issues.

Man, I’m having a total headache with my Bluetooth headphones too.
So, I picked up some wireless Bowers & Wilkins Px headphones.
Everything works perfectly fine when I'm using them with my smartphone.
But today, I tried to switch things up and listen to some tunes on my laptop instead.
Even though they’re officially paired via Bluetooth with my
laptop, the second I hit play on Windows Media Player, the sound just blasts out of the laptop speakers instead of the headphones. When I check my device settings, all I see is the Realtek HD Audio as an option.
Does anyone know what I need to tweak so I can actually hear my music wirelessly through these Bluetooth headphones?
Just for context, I'm running an HP 250 G6 Notebook PC, 64-bit.

I had zero clue how to upload a photo from my phone to this thread, so please don't kill me,
Basically, under playback I've got these Bowers & Wilkins PX headphones, but the headset shows up as disconnected. Every time I try to hit connect, absolutely nothing happens—I have no idea what the deal is.
