It feels like I’m hitting these weird little walls with my breathing sometimes... almost like there's this constant weight sitting right on top of my lungs that I just can't seem to cough up or shake off. It isn't like I'm struggling to catch my breath or getting winded easily, and I haven't run a fever or anything, nor is there really a cough or anything similar going on. I honestly just don't know what's happening with me, though I have tried doing those deep inhale and exhale cycles about twenty times in a row to see if it helps, and it does seem to work for a moment.

Over the last two years, I've mostly been dealing with secondhand exposure... it feels like there's just this constant sensation stuck in my throat.

🤷 Look, go see a doctor immediately. It could be anything. A decent physician will actually listen to you, but make sure you insist they run a chest X-ray or some imaging on your lungs.

I had my lungs imaged and went through all the tests about six weeks ago, and everything came back perfectly fine... but I can't help wondering if it’s just a buildup of mucus, since I’ve been stuck with this dry cough. It feels a bit odd given that I'm relatively young, being only 20 😁

It could honestly be purely psychological... I bet they didn't even mention that to you.
