Hey, I punched some unidentified object on the floor (I don't even remember what it was) and now everything just hurts.🀷
I'm starting to worry I might have fractured my fifth metacarpalβ€”you know, right above the pinky finger where the pain is localizedβ€”because the swelling is getting pretty bad...
How am I supposed to tell if the bone is actually broken? I won't be able to make it into an Urgent Care or see a doctor for about a week. Is there any way to stabilize it, immobilize it, or just manage the healing process myself in the meantime? πŸ™‚

If you can still move it slightly with your finger, it’s probably just a hairline fracture or a sprain rather than a full break. You should still go see a doctor, though. I mean, where are you even living, the middle of the Mojave Desert?

Just let it heal. It might set a little crooked, but who cares?

The rating should clear up any doubts you have...

I was wondering if anyone has tips on what I should be eating more of, or maybe which specific supplements I ought to grab to help speed up the bone healing process just a little bit?
