I don't know, I'm just not really feeling Bruce Springsteen anymore. I went to his show, and honestly, I think Jack White is way better than this "master." Plus, the West keeps obsessing over stuff like El Dorado—not realizing it isn't even a Bruce composition.🙄

I actually went to one of his shows once (he plays in New York City twice a year 🙄)... It was Springsteen and his Wedding&funeral band... I think that's what they call them 🙄

Honestly, I'd rather blast some Santana while I'm out hitting golf balls or cutting through some turf 😁

Man, he was actually alright in my book maybe three or four years back—but then I started discovering those authentic Delta blues players, those gritty jazz ensembles, those soulful groups from the South, and all that. I think you guys get why it was so hard for me to just "move on" from him!

Springsteen is basically a giant recycling bin, but honestly, he’s decent. The guy basically took folk music from half the American South and claimed it as his own, passing off most of his choruses under the guise of "traditional melodies." That said, I think he’s a top-tier arranger, and that’s really what gives him that timeless feel—at least to the listener who isn't playing his stuff on loop every single day.

Is Springsteen a hack who just copies people, or is he actually a genius?
About five or six years ago, I caught an interview where he basically claimed that if anyone has mastered every single facet of rock, it’s him. Now he says he just plays for himself. I remember thinking, "Whatever you say, man."
Then there's Sheryl Crow—heard her on some Romanian singer's playlist. Before that, I'd already checked out Johnny Cash, then stumbled onto some French stuff. It hits the spot. Not every day, but every now and then. I'm sure he rips off certain things here and there. But there are also original pieces created by the band that have been remixed later.
Then a few years back, I saw this concert on TV. He’s in all white, guitar resting on his knee, playing alongside some Gypsy musicians and some Bulgarian singers.
He isn't looking for love. He's got plenty. He’s clearly having a blast. The days when girls would flock to him to lose their innocence—back when that was the big trend—are long gone. But honestly, he still looks pretty solid at his age, while Freddie Mercury has definitely moved on to the great beyond.

Bruce Springsteen is just pure, heavy commercialism. I swear I even heard some cover of "Born in the U.S.A." on some random TV channel back in the day... what a joke.

Yeah, total genius. A commercialized genius, clearly. 😉
