BSOD issues - help needed

does anyone here actually know how to fix this mess?

So I'm looking, but there's nothing in C:\ Windows\Minidump. Nothing at all.
Sometimes it just tells me the issue is with C:\ Windows\memory.dmp...
I've been running this laptop for over a year without even touching the graphics drivers because it kept hitting me with constant blue screens. I tried searching for a fix, but honestly, nothing worked. I finally just gave in and installed the driver hoping it would stick, but nope—same exact thing. I've reinstalled Windows more times than I can count, but the second those graphics drivers land, everything breaks again. Sometimes I even get weird lines streaking across the screen... I'm pretty lost here. Is it possible the integrated graphics chip is just totally fried?

Anything is possible at this point, so just let me know exactly which laptop model you're running, if there are any yellow warning icons popping up in your Device Manager, and which version of Windows you have installed

It's an old Toshiba Satellite L550-15F.
Got some yellow warnings in the Device Manager—mostly non-plug and play stuff like parport and serial.
As for the OS, it's running Windows XP... well, more like "Winborg" at this point.
Trying to run Windows 7, Vista, or even Linux is a total wash. The installer just won't even start; the laptop either keeps rebooting or the screen just starts getting these weird lines all over it.

Why don't you just install a clean version of Windows XP? All those custom modifications are usually what cause this kind of mess.

Yeah, I've got those yellow exclamation marks popping up under display adapters/video controller, video controller (VGA Compatible), and some non-plug and play drivers for parport and serial)

Honestly, you should probably just go ahead and install those missing drivers

Then I can't even get the laptop to boot up.
It just hits a Blue Screen of Death or keeps resetting...

You might want to try putting Hiren's Boot onto a USB drive or burning it to a CD—there are plenty of tutorials online to help you out—then just boot from it to run some diagnostics. For instance, it includes MemTest86, so I'd recommend running a RAM test for at least an hour, followed by a check on your hard drive...

I’ve been dealing with constant issues with my PC lately—what is actually going on here and how do I fix it? It keeps shutting down incorrectly all the time, even though I make sure to close every single window before I try anything...

Just grab WhoCrashed once you get it installed. There's an analysis button right there—just click that, and it should give you a breakdown of why you're getting the Blue Screen of Death.

Even without doing that—it popped up that little icon thingy—saying the issue is on my C drive under Windows, specifically some folder it claims I don't have permission to access😕

Should be an easy fix. Just grab CCleaner and wipe the registry. Usually happens when some software gets uninstalled but left behind some junk instructions telling macOS it still needs to load it... then it trips over itself.
