I need some suggestions for a Gaming rig under $1,000 $0.00 just for the tower. No monitor or peripherals needed.

Also, if possible, drop a link to a reliable shop where I can just order a pre-built unit without Windows included?

So, what kind of monitor are you actually playing on—or planning to get?

I don't have one yet. I'm grabbing the monitor after I pick up the rig.

And how much do you think it's worth spending on it?

If you're planning on just a FullHD monitor, there's honestly no point in overspending $3333 on the PC. But if you're eyeing at least a 1440p setup, then you better factor that cost in—your build needs to be able to actually drive a screen like that.

So $667

then there's that setup Flatron put together
PLUS

a monitor like this

at this price $667you won't be getting a QHD monitor, and pairing an FHD monitor with a build like that is just a crime

this first one:

or maybe this second option:

or should I just hunt for a third choice at Best Buy or some other shop?

If you’ve actually got a budget like that, don't waste it on some pre-built rig from a big-box store where they just throw parts together and ship it to your door for free.

Can someone out there help me out? Could you build me a PC rig for under $1,000 and just drop a screenshot of the cart right here?

Why there specifically? There are way better shops than Newegg.

Why bother there? There are way better shops than Instar.

Instar runs active Facebook marketing, and they pack their pre-built PC names with buzzwords like
'ultra'
'cyber'
'omnius'
'GT'
'Cyber GT'
'gigaprd'
(that last one is just a joke)

And all that stuff puts them a step ahead of the other online retailers.

Honestly, I can't find a single gtx 1070 in stock anywhere... It’s impossible to build a $1,500 gaming rig without one.

Actually, they aren't. Their prices are competitive enough, and they're fine. They aren't Centro, Adm, or futur must go.

Sure they are, as long as half their stock is out of stock.🤦

I simply don't grasp this whole concept of unavailability. Everyone pulls from the same pool of suppliers—M-san, Asbis, Esys, Microline, and so on.

If it isn't in stock at one major distributor, it isn't anywhere.

You can find it elsewhere, just not from them at the price they're asking...

That is precisely why I prefer shopping at Lincoln. You can always see exactly what’s in stock and where it’s located, plus their pricing has been quite competitive lately, especially when it comes to GPUs.
