Greetings... I am currently on the hunt for a decent chassis/case that can accommodate a build up to $667... ideally staying under $733
.
Please, let's try to respect that initial budget constraint.
My goal is simply a machine capable of handling web browsing and some light gaming—think things like Windows 10 or maybe some casual sports titles. 🙂 If anyone could toss a few recommendations my way from reputable US online retailers that offer reliable shipping,
I would be most grateful.

Maybe an Intel Core i3 1 x ASUS Motherboard desktop H61? I guess.
It looks like we have an Intel Core i3 1 x ASUS Motherboard desktop H61 on the table here. It’s an mATX retail unit featuring a Socket 1155, DDR3 support, SATA II, PS/2, USB 2.0, VGA, DVI, LAN, audio Line-In, audio Line-Out, and Microphone-In. I guess that covers all the basics.
Just one stick of 4GB Transcend DDR3 memory, 1333MHz (part number JM1333KLH-4G), bulk packaging.
Just one Toshiba 500GB hard drive, 7200rpm, with 32MB cache.
Just one NaviaTec MATX PC case for sale. No power supply included.
Just one Chicony HPA-350W power supply.
Just one Sapphire R7 250 Boost, 1GB GDDR5.

Total: $671 Futura-IT

Free shipping and assembly included... I didn't include the griddle, but you could probably just pick up a used one pretty easily; people don't really use those things much anymore anyway. 🙂

Honestly, I’m feeling pretty torn between these two builds... the first one actually fits within my budget once I factor in adding a DVD burner... but I am genuinely wondering if that processor even comes with a stock cooler included?

It comes with both options (either AMD or Intel processors)

If you’re looking to stretch your budget, maybe check out Best Buy or a similar big-box retailer for a setup with a G1820 paired with a GTX 1050 Ti. Since that GPU is a significant step up from an old R7 250, you might actually be able to handle some newer, more demanding titles.
