So... I've noticed these little lumps under my skin. They're pretty easy to feel, mostly around my stomach area—specifically one on each side near my kidneys, though they don't look perfectly symmetrical. I also found one about 7-8 cm away from my belly button. These things have been there for maybe a year or two now. They don't actually hurt, but if I drink alcohol, I feel this weird tension or a slight stinging sensation around them when I touch them. Same thing happens after a workout when my muscles are all tight. Honestly, I don't know what they are. I started reading up on lymph nodes and stuff... even Hodgkin's disease... so naturally, my mind went straight to the worst-case scenario. Again, to be clear: they aren't painful, and I don't have any of those other classic symptoms you see with Hodgkin's. I also spotted 2 or 3 small lumps on my forearm and a couple on the back of one thigh. Those ones move around easily under the skin and don't hurt either, so I'm thinking they're just lipomas. It's the ones near my kidneys that are really bugging me, though. I used to deal with massive acne issues that I finally cleared up using Accutane, so I'm wondering if these could be subcutaneous acne or some kind of sebaceous gland issue? Any advice on who I should see for testing or imaging? I just want to get some answers and stop worrying. I'm currently in New York City!
Thanks!!!

It’s most likely just lipomas, which are benign fatty tissue tumors. Your first step should be seeing a primary care physician to have them take a look, and then they can refer you to a specialist.
If they are lipomas, don't sweat it; they aren't dangerous. You can always have them surgically removed if they actually bother you.

Here’s a little something for you—some anti-lipid tea. I actually know this older gentleman who was struggling with quite a few lipomas, but he managed to clear them all out just by using some Chinese anti-lipid tea.

Could you give me more details on that? Please, my boyfriend is covered in them, and he has one specifically pressing against a nerve that's causing him serious pain. He really wants to avoid going under the knife again if possible.

So, we’re talking about Chinese biopharmaceuticals here. A close family friend of mine—someone my parents' age—actually managed to get rid of those lipomas he was dealing with just by using this tea; he had quite a few of them, too. But honestly, it wasn't even just about the bumps; I watched the guy practically come back to life, just overflowing with energy all of a sudden. That's the thing about this tea, it's kind of a catch-all, not just for lipomas. It’s more like a total vitality brew. My wife and I actually went through a full regimen of the tea and those cleansing tablets, which is basically the standard initial Chinese protocol for everything. As a side effect, everyone's energy levels just skyrocket. Anyway, the tea runs you about $15 for a 40-day supply, and if I remember correctly, those cleansing tablets are taken for about three weeks, costing roughly $50. Those prices include a 25% discount; you can find it in stores, but they'll charge you the full retail price there. If you're interested, hit me up and I'll shoot you the contact info via DM (but clear out your inbox first, because I tried sending a message earlier and it wouldn't go through—your
is totally maxed out).

Hey, thanks for the heads-up about the inbox issue. Please, send that contact info over. My boyfriend is desperate.
Thanks🙏

I noticed a little lump just below my groin during my pregnancy, but since I dealt with swollen lymph nodes all through childhood that would just come and go, I didn't think much of it at the time. Medutina—it’s actually been there for three years now, and a few months back, it started hurting—sometimes making my whole thigh ache. I was pregnant and honestly too terrified to see a doctor, but I finally went to my GP today. She gave me a referral to surgery with a diagnosis of *Neoplasma benignum cutis extremitatis inferioris I. sin.*
I did a bit of Googling and all I could find is that it's a benign fatty tumor on the leg. Now I’m genuinely freaking out about going to the surgeon because she mentioned the possibility of an operation. To make matters worse, it hurts even more now—I hit the gym a couple of days ago, and ever since, there's been this constant stinging and aching right around the lump.

Man, these lipomas are absolutely killing me; I’ve got them all over my body. 😢 It’s becoming a massive aesthetic nightmare, and since there are so many, I’m honestly torn on whether surgery is even the right move. I actually had one removed once, but the damn thing grew right back to its original size after just a few months. To make matters worse, I heard from a doctor that cutting them out might actually trigger more of them to pop up. Has anyone here actually tried those anti-lipid teas? Do they even work, or is it all just hype? Or maybe there’s another way to handle this besides surgery—like laser lipolysis or something else similar? Thanks in advance!

If anyone happens to know where I can pick up that tea in Washington, D.C., or even just has a phone number for the shop, I’d be super grateful... thx!!!

So, after feeling this weird lump between my hip and butt for about a month, I finally went to see a surgeon this morning. It’s like a little ball sitting maybe half an inch deep in the muscle. At first, I was convinced it was just an ingrown hair from some injury or something, but the surgeon—who basically gave me a five-second exam, by the way—told me it’s either a calcification or a lipoma. He *suggested* it isn't anything dangerous and said to just call him if it starts hurting or getting bigger... has anyone dealt with something similar or actually know what's going on here?

thanks...

If it’s a lipoma, there is a very good chance it will continue to grow over time, at least based on all the instances I have encountered.
I actually had a lipoma myself located right on my shoulder blade, and since it wasn't causing me any significant discomfort, I just let it grow quite a bit.
I also know someone who ended up "cultivating" a lipoma for a long time in their groin area.
Personally, I don't think you need to worry too much about this situation. Doctors see these things all the time, and when they tell you it's either a lipoma or a calcification, what they are really trying to communicate is that the specific type doesn't matter because neither one is dangerous.
Generally speaking, if you start feeling pain, it's likely a calcification, whereas if you notice it physically expanding, it's probably a lipoma.
If you do notice it starting to grow, I would suggest not waiting too long to address it, simply because a smaller lipoma is much easier to remove and tends to lead to far fewer complications following the procedure.

I honestly don't get why they don't just run an ultrasound or a biopsy to figure out what's actually going on and get it taken care of immediately, instead of waiting until it grows into something even bigger...

Honestly, both of them are completely harmless, so if you’re comfortable leaving things exactly as they are, there's really no need to go through with any kind of surgery.
That said, if it starts weighing on you mentally or just bothers you psychologically, you can always ask a doctor to have them removed.

Just wanted to jump in here and weigh in on this... I’ve actually got a lipoma myself, and honestly, it isn't the end of the world, even though mine is pretty damn big since I've been letting it sit there and grow for ages now. 😁
It's right on my leg—on the inner thigh, basically sitting just above where my junk starts. 😁 hahahaaa
I've already gone through all the medical checkups and rounded up all the paperwork for the surgery, so I'm heading in soon. They told me they're doing spinal anesthesia—you know, the shot in the back—and seriously, that part scares me way more than the actual lipoma itself. 😁

I've finished all my checkups and gathered the paperwork for surgery, so I'm heading in soon. They're giving me anesthesia—the spinal kind where they go into your back -.- " Honestly, that part scares me way more than the actual tumor itself.😁

Regarding the anesthesia, I had a spinal for my C-section. While the anesthesiologist was poking my back, my wife was simultaneously trying to get a needle into my vein in my arm. To be honest, that IV poke hurt way more than the spinal. I don't even remember the sensation in my back. It’s just a weird feeling—you can tell things are happening down there, but you can't move your legs and you don't feel any pain at all.
