Can you attach files in PMs?

Quick question: can you actually attach files in private messages here? I noticed when making a regular post that there's an option to upload an attachment (up to 10 kB), but I don't see anything similar for DMs. Is that even an option?

This is impossible. Just upload the document to a cloud service like Google Drive or Dropbox and drop the link in the private message.
