Can't download anything

I'm running into the issue mentioned in the title. To be honest, I don't know much about this side of things, so I'm struggling to explain it clearly. Every time I try to download something, I get an error message, or the file just ends up being incomplete.

I'm currently using Windows XP with 2.5 GB of RAM.

It’d be a huge help if you could actually tell us what error message you're seeing...

Is there even enough space left on the hard drive?

There’s plenty of room.

I just ran into an error I don't think I encountered during the initial extraction—though that might be because I just bumped my RAM up by 2GB (it was sitting at a meager 500MB previously, which made everything much more sluggish):

Windows XP Service Pack 3 must be installed before setup can continue. Please install Windows XP Service Pack 3 and run Setup again.

It'll be quite something if I can't even manage to download Windows XP service pack 3...

You're being a bit vague here. First you say you can't even download anything, but then in your next post you mention getting an error when trying to launch it—which would mean you actually managed to get it on your machine... 🤔
