Can't install graphics driver

Hey there! I'm having some trouble getting my graphics driver to load... At first, it tells me my system needs the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. If I try to install it right away, I get this error: 'Problems with installing graphic drivers: File not found. Make sure you typed name correctly and then try again.' Is this something I can fix, or am I looking at a full reinstall of Windows?

So, are you trying to grab the drivers directly from the Nvidia site or somewhere else?

From my perspective (!ACC)—though I suppose that’s just part of the model—I'm installing them directly from the original graphics card DVD...

Model, the specific graphics card model really matters here... You should check the box the card came in—or maybe just take a look at the disc if you still have it.

If your Windows settings aren't quite dialed in, you might want to try adjusting them—just hit search, grab the download, run the installer, and you should be all set.

I installed that driver from the link you sent me... everything looks like the card is properly recognized, but my graphics settings are still stuck at the absolute minimum. Honestly, I’m starting to have doubts about this version of Windows, so I’d rather just wipe it and start over. Could you please recommend a reliable link for a fresh version of Windows 7 or 8? Maybe even Windows 8 Pro, since I've heard it runs a bit faster.

It’s a great site for finding Windows 7 and 8—they have untouched versions with all the updates already integrated. That’s a huge timesaver, honestly, because you don't have to sit there running Windows Update for hours right after you install everything. Like I mentioned before, it’s an original Microsoft ISO file. It isn't some sketchy torrent download filled with extra bloatware or random junk programs, you know? So, it's really up to you now whether you want to go with Win 7 or 8.

Clean ISO straight from Microsoft, but I'm pretty sure you'll still need your own product key.

You can totally go ahead and download DriverChecker if you want. MOSTLY, though, I’d suggest just handling everything yourself.
