About ten months ago, I was involved in a really nasty head-on collision.
I ended up in a coma for about fifteen days, which was pretty terrifying. Now, I’m left dealing with some lingering issues regarding my memory and motor skills. The damage was extensive—fractures in my pelvis, four ribs, two others, some brain bleeding, and even some lung bruising. Right after I finally got discharged from the hospital, I spent forty days in intensive physical therapy because the entire right side of my body is still weaker than the left, and I'm struggling with amnesia. It all happened because a Ford slammed into me; my driver tried to overtake three cars, and this Ford came flying out of nowhere from the opposite direction and crushed my side. I spent four months stuck in a hospital bed. Does anyone have an idea how much compensation I might be looking at, or how long the legal process usually drags on? I missed an entire school year because of this, and honestly, I'm pretty worried about whether I'll even be able to finish my education.
