In the aforementioned post, I am using a rather ironic tone to convey my perspective regarding the current system; I am simply echoing the sentiments of a colleague whose views I find quite agreeable...

As I see it, this is just labeling an entire group of people as mentally unstable. My comment was directed at one specific individual—a public figure and government official whom I have personally met. This is simply my own assessment of that person based on my direct experience. Labeling unknown dissenters in such a manner is highly unacceptable, and I suppose I was actually quite lenient in how I handled it. Perhaps I shouldn't have been...

What public figure are you even talking about, and who exactly do you think you know? You’re attempting to justify censorship with nothing more than a collection of disconnected nonsense.

My position was intended to be principled, serving as a sort of critique regarding the current state of our society. Generally speaking, censorship serves as a glaring testament to the wretchedness of those who demand it, acting as a clear admission of their utter inability to mount a coherent counterargument...

...and while supporters of the Living Wall are indeed consistently subjected to insults, your blatant bias seems to have rendered you selectively blind to it... which, quite frankly, says more about your own character (and the media outlet you are dishonoring with such behavior) than anything else.

Insulting people who disagree with you goes against our community guidelines. By registering on Reddit, you agreed to follow these rules; checking those boxes and clicking "agree" constitutes a legally binding electronic contract. If you want to label that censorship, be my guest.

I have merely voiced my observations regarding the current state of our society. You seem intent on manufacturing some notion of "offense," pivoting quite erratically toward an individual you happen to know personally—a government official, no less. As if anyone actually cares about your social circle, or as if your personal acquaintances have any bearing whatsoever on this discussion.

Since you have failed to provide a single coherent explanation, I find myself compelled to ask once more: why the censorship?
