So, what’s your cholesterol looking like these days?
I think I read somewhere once that eating seven eggs a week might be pushing it too far (even if your body doesn't actually absorb all that dietary cholesterol)... so do you ever just skip the yolks on certain days?

I don't eat eggs on a daily basis, nor do I have any issues with my cholesterol levels, but I am curious about what the healthiest frequency would be. Should I aim for once a week, every few days, or even every single day? What does the current research suggest?

I'd say hitting them about 3-4 times a week is the way to go. I mean, the yolk is basically a cholesterol bomb, but most experts say individual foods don't impact your numbers nearly as much as long-term habits—like eating way more calories than you burn or overloading on saturated fats... anyway, stick to 3-4 a week!

Scientists are out here claiming that the cholesterol found in eggs doesn't actually trigger your body to crank up its own internal production—which, if you think about it, is a pretty wild biological loophole! Of course, there’s always that small subset of people for whom eggs just don't sit right—you know, those folks whose systems react differently to everything.
Some health gurus insist you shouldn't touch more than four eggs a week—it's like they're treating breakfast like a high-stakes gamble! If you're one of those cautious types who doesn't want to play any games with your health, you might just want to stick to the egg whites more often.

"Eating an egg every morning gives you superpowers!!"
That’s what people used to say, anyway. Not entirely sure how much truth there actually is to it...
