Honestly, I’d say this is one of Adams' weaker ones. Some of the scenes feel pretty cheap, like that part in the chapel where they get together... plus, that lawyer and Dr. Honey are total cowards, right? Like, 90% of the movie is just gay subplots.

What a total dud. Honestly, I think I checked out long before that scene even happened.
Back in the day, Sandler was actually pretty great, but now? He’s just pathetic. I really started questioning things after watching that stupid
comedy, "Click." Is he still churning out this kind of mindless junk, or has my taste just gone downhill?...

I’m with you on this one—the movie was pretty terrible. I don't know, I feel like Sandler has just totally lost his edge lately. Like, he actually has some genuinely great stuff under his belt, but then he turns around and makes something that’s just mindless garbage...

But here's the thing...
Every now and then, Sandler actually hits on a solid, bingeable comedy (think 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer, or Big Daddy). But way more often than not, he falls into this mindless, repetitive rut with stuff like >, >, >, or >. It feels like he’s just churning out these low-effort flicks for the American market for some reason, but man, I really hope he moves past this phase soon.

Sandler occasionally lands a decent, watchable comedy (like 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer, or Big Daddy). However, he tends to fall into this mindless, repetitive routine much more often (think The Waterboy, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management, or Click) where he churns out endless romantic fluff for reasons I can't quite grasp. Personally, I don't think this era will last much longer.

I didn't enjoy it much during my first viewing either. I felt let down because I was expecting something along the lines of Magnolia or Bogie Nights. However, upon watching it a second time, I realized it's simply a slightly eccentric romance, and everything clicked. It isn't a masterpiece, but it is quite good.

I found this movie to be quite poor. It feels as though the entire production was driven by an attempt to dismantle stereotypes and adhere to political correctness, ultimately resulting in a narrative where Sandler somehow avoids having to call his friend.

Honestly, it’s probably better this way.

Neither of them is even remotely watchable, despite how much they brag about themselves.

I am certain Sandler would find that absolutely unbearable... and since I find him utterly insufferable, I truly hope he suffers through it.

Honestly, they went a little overboard with the gay scenes.
