I’m heading to the hospital in Cleveland soon for a stay. Can anyone tell me what the rooms are actually like? I’m coming from out of state, so I have no idea if I need to bring my own laptop or if there's a computer available there. Please let me know so I can plan ahead.🙂🙂

It really depends on which department you're heading to... but honestly? You might as well leave your laptop at home along with your phone. The only people allowed to have tech on them are the kids over in oncology.

I didn't grow up staying at Cleveland Clinic, so I can't say for certain how things worked back then, but I find it a bit strange that older kids aren't allowed to have their phones in their hospital rooms. I mean, if it's forbidden for children, wouldn't they just ban phones for adults in the hospital too?

I don't buy that it's actually banned. Just bring it along, and if it turns out you aren't supposed to have it, your parents can always just take it back later... There definitely won't be any computers there. And honestly, they probably won't even care about phones—but even if they do, it's pretty easy to sneak one in.

Shame on you😁

I’ve been there a few times myself... and they actually confiscated my phone every single time 😠 so I’m guessing there is absolutely zero chance they'll let you bring a laptop in either... but hey, maybe if you end up in a department where the staff is a bit more laid back, you might get lucky...😍

Honestly, it’s like they aren't doing enough just by having these kids stuck in the hospital away from home—now they're pulling this on top of everything else. Just unbelievable...

Look, obviously there isn't any extra radiation being pumped out in the hospital.

That’s just not true. I mean, kids can have a phone on them, maybe even a laptop too...😍

I wanted to ask something that’s a bit off-topic from the main thread, but it’s specifically about Klaićev, so maybe someone here can point me in the right direction...
My question is: does Klaićev ever take on volunteers to help out with kids' games or anything like that? And if they do, who would be the best person to reach out to?
I tried digging through their website, but I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere...
