So, about two weeks back, I noticed this little Bubbles with a thick membrane forming on the inside of my lower lip. It’s always felt quite firm to the touch—hard enough that I expected it to be painful, but strangely, it isn't. Even when I leave it completely alone, it seems to have a mind of its own, disappearing and then popping right back up in the exact same spot.

Well, I finally went ahead and squeezed it tonight, and honestly, out came this clear fluid that had a consistency somewhere between water and mucus, just much thicker.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm dealing with here? Is this just some aggressive, high-end version of a canker sore, or could it be something else entirely? 😕

If it looks like this, you're looking at a canker sore.

No, no, no—mine is definitely a Bubbles.

It could just be a minor salivary gland issue. It’s visible right there on the inner lining of the lower lip.

Take a look at this (it shows a photo and a quick breakdown of the condition): http://www.dentistry.bham.ac.uk/ecou...e.asp?pid=1637

That said, you really should check in with a doctor or a dentist to get a definitive answer. 🤷

That’s my best guess, anyway. I'm heading straight to the dentist tomorrow morning. 😢

Thanks, anyway.
