Coldplay - The Iron Sea ( Magic shop version )

Is it just me, or is this upcoming album sounding absolute trash? It’s all over-produced pop nonsense—just chasing catchy choruses without any actual substance behind the instruments. Honestly, I’m dreading the day it actually drops. First Coldplay let me down, and now it looks like Coldplay too... and man, I always preferred them over Coldplay. *Under The Iron Sea* is a straight-up masterpiece. I don't know, feels like music has just gone to hell lately.

Does anyone else feel like the Keanov track Silenced by The Night sounds just like Matt Cardle - Starlight?😕

I’ve always been a huge fan of Coldplay... and honestly, it's true they took a different direction, much like how Coldplay did, but I still love listening to them regardless...😍

I can't believe I actually typed that out! Total first impression fail right there. I saw them live in Vienna and it actually made me an even bigger fan—and yeah, I was definitely screaming every single lyric. Tom’s got a killer voice, so they sound just as good live as they do on the records. Honestly, Coldplay should be embarrassed; they aren't even in the same league.

Where are all my Keaners at? I’m a total newbie here—I've been completely obsessed with the band for about a month now.
I mean, I’ve known about them forever, but back when I was in my massive punk phase, I always thought they were way too "soft" for my taste.
But man, *Hopes and fears* and *Under The Iron Sea*? Absolute masterpieces. I’ve spent way too many hours binge-watching their old live sets on YouTube and I am officially hooked. It’s crazy to see them back together after that multi-year hiatus.
As for the new album, *Cause and Effect*, it didn't really click for me right away, but after a few listens, it’s actually grown on me quite a bit—the songwriting is just top-tier.
And don't even get me started on Tomov's vocals; the guy is incredible, and honestly, he’s kind of my huge girl crush. He isn't your typical Hollywood pretty boy, but he’s got this raw charisma that just hits differently.
It’s such a bummer that it looks like they’re only touring around England this summer—I’m dying to catch them live once they finally tour closer to the US and things settle down with the pandemic.
