Apologies if I'm off-topic here... but since they're being advertised everywhere, does anyone actually know where to find them? I've checked both Walmart and Target—nothing but empty shelves where the Crispy Pops should be.🤷

Maybe it's because they don't even have the K? 😂

And why on earth would anyone buy those? Just because some commercial claimed they were "healthy"? Yeah, right—especially once you deep-fry them in a literal gallon of oil until you’re practically showering in grease... I mean, talk about a health kick. (Sorry if I’m being a bit harsh on something you might actually want to pick up, it’s just—man, those ads are aggressive)

(Sorry if I'm being harsh about something you were thinking of buying; I just can't get past the marketing)

No need to apologize... anyway, I actually spotted them at the store today.😉

Ugh, I really hope this fake stuff doesn't fly with people. It looks like they just took some leftover ground scraps and called it a day. Honestly, those little nuggets look pretty unappetizing to me. If I were you, I’d just grab a decent cut of steak, slice it into rounds myself, and pan-fry it. Anything beats eating this junk.

And they have the nerve to market it as kid-friendly? Yeah, right. Like I'm ever buying that for my kids.🙄

I mean, what can I say—I didn't end up buying them. Not because I changed my mind, but they were just nowhere to be found. I only spotted them sitting in a fridge somewhere, though it seems plenty of people have already decided to give them a shot... which doesn't necessarily mean they're actually good or healthy, I guess. ☕

It's not like I passed on them because I changed my mind, there just wasn't any left on the shelf... all I saw was an empty fridge space where they used to be, which clearly means a ton of people decided to grab some... though obviously, that doesn't make them good or healthy for you ☕

I figured I’d stir the pot in this thread a little bit.
Don't you think those "famous" Crispy Pops are actually just that total junk food garbage Americans call a Chicken Nugget??

Just to be clear, I haven't bought them or actually tasted them from some...

If that's really what they are, then here's the deal: they take scraps and mash up the worst parts of the chicken, skin and all, toss in a bunch of additives to fake the flavor
(probably stuff that makes you feel like exploding if you eat too much...) and whatever else
(a quick Google search didn't help much—I couldn't even find a proper list of "ingredients"...)
And then they BEAUTIFULLY COAT IT ALL in breadcrumbs and fry it up... as if it's somehow packed with nutrition!

Look, let people enjoy themselves—I have nothing against someone grabbing a quick bite when they're in a rush... as long as they don't start feeding this crap to our kids in daycare and schools...

(likely some chemical concoction designed to make us feel "healthy" while doing the exact opposite...) along with whatever else
(I did a quick search online, though I couldn't quite track down a specific list of "ingredients"...)...

But isn't that essentially just describing meatloaf or bologna? 🤣
The current generation of kids was basically raised on that kind of processed fare, so what's the harm in a few Chicken Nuggets or some Crispy Pops? 🙂

I gave them a shot, just like I try everything else! 😁 I ended up making half of them in the microwave thinking it would be healthier by avoiding all that heavy oil, but they turned out so tough and tasteless—honestly, they were basically like chewing on a piece of gum. Then I fried the other half in oil because I figured the microwave was the problem, but nope, they were still totally flavorless.
I am definitely never buying these again, and I certainly wouldn't dream of getting them for my kids. For what you're paying, you could just grab some high-quality chicken breast fillets instead; and even though we all know factory farming can be a mess, at least with real meat, I feel like I'm eating premium cuts rather than just whatever mystery scraps someone mentioned earlier.

To be honest, I feel like this stuff is just glorified pâté or deli meat, just shaped differently. Sure, nobody's actually dying from eating it, but I remember only having deli meat maybe once a month when I was a little kid (and even less often now!).

I tried it once and honestly? Never again... I nearly cracked a tooth because that thing was unbelievably hard. It was supposed to be crispy, but it was more like biting into a brick. :/

I bought them. Honestly, I have never tasted anything quite this revolting in my entire life. I baked them in the oven—they looked fine enough, I guess, little golden-brown nuggets... but nobody in my house could actually eat them. One bite and people were literally spitting them out! So, I thought to myself, okay: we have a cat that will eat anything—mice, sparrows, store-bought kibble, our leftovers... I was actually looking forward to treating her to some Crispy Pops. But when she walked in, she caught a whiff of that crap, turned her head, and walked away like she was insulted! And this cat eats everything. This Crispy Pops is an absolute insult to consumers—how do they even have the nerve to pass this off as food! As for what kind of ground-up mystery meat is hidden under all those additives and flavor enhancers? I won't even speculate, because just the memory of the taste of Crispy Pops makes me want to gag!
People, please, do not eat this!
It is an absolute disgrace!

We air-fried them, and they turned out great.

Seriously, this is hands down the most disgusting "food" I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting. First off, it’s physically repelling—I can barely even bring myself to take a bite. But more importantly? The flavor is just straight-up vile. 🤮

I honestly can't wrap my head around why everyone is being so incredibly critical about this. Look, I’m fully aware they aren't exactly a nutritional powerhouse—heaven knows what kind of processed mystery ingredients are packed inside those things—but they taste good. Plain and simple. They were quick to prepare, and for some reason, mine weren't even remotely tough or dry. In fact, they were surprisingly juicy, which made them a perfect match for some ketchup. I’ll say it again: I realize they aren't "healthy," but they satisfy a craving. I have no idea how yours turned out so hard, because mine were perfectly fine. At the end of the day, having them with some fries maybe two or three times a month isn't going to ruin anyone's life. 🙂

Honestly, I don't really care if they're "healthy" or whatever. The guy loves his junk food, but when I sit down to eat something processed, I at least expect it to taste good. This was the first time some fast food actually drove me to grab a homemade sausage for dinner instead of 😬
.
I followed the instructions to a T, fried them in oil, and man... they were just off. Not hard, exactly, just super chewy 🤔
. Like, I’m trying to bite into one and it’s just fighting back 😬
.
Anyway, I am never buying these again. It's not even because they're pricey or bad for you—it's just because, frankly, they suck 🙂

The MTA is stocked with them; they’re flying off the shelves!
