If a thread gets locked, the mod shouldn't be dropping replies in there either, right? Makes zero sense.

The topic's closed, yet a response popped up just five minutes after the lock went down.🙄

A moderator can give a final word, an explanation, or a reason for closing things down right after they lock the thread.

I guess I was just wondering if that kind of thing is even okay in general!

Seriously though, if you're actively arguing in a thread, how do you even make a rational call to lock it just because people aren't vibing with your take? And how do you lock a thread without giving a reason, then keep posting right after? Like, is it locked or what!!
