Calling sexual drive a "lower level" of love feels incredibly puritanical to me. Sex isn't an issue in itself; at its core, it's pure.

"People are just clashing because they're both right!" said some undercover CIA operative on Oprah, back in the day... π
The truth is, you're both correct; one person is looking at one side, while the other sees the opposite perspective.
The ego is like a mirror egg. Its surface barely holds any actual reality...
The ego is warm water, but awakening is cold water!)
A friend was telling me that most people (%) have their ego centered in the sacral chakraβ
it's all about being punctual, obsessing over formalities, rigid logic, academic learning, mental expression, "sacral" sciences, schooling, bureaucracy...
while the other half of the population centers their ego in the second chakraβusing sex as a way to prove their ego exists...
you almost never see a CEO of a major corporation like ExxonMobil with an ego centered in the third chakra!!!
just imagine someone who actually had their ego centered in the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh chakras!""
Someone centered in the fourth would find their ego purpose in helping others! A true altruist... and those people are rare...
So, working on yourself is really just working on your egoβfiguring out how to become an even bigger egoist! π
Buddha had all seven centers open, which is how he became free from the ego...
As a collective, people aren't going to get much further than trying to prove their own sacral importance!! πππ
What was Christ trying to prove? What was Muhammad trying to prove? That's where they got stuck... π π

So, self-improvement is really just ego-workβit's how you become even more self-centered. π

A massive ego basically equals a massive sense of self.
That whole thing about putting yourself above everyone elseβthat feeling of superiority, acting like you're somehow "bigger" than the rest of us, just pure arrogance... there's a lot to unpack there.
There's plenty more we could dive into,

God, these Catholics think they're so enlightened... I honestly wonder what they're even doing on this forum... looking for converts? π€£ Honestly, the Lord and everything else is just pure ego π
