So, I finally saw a dermatologist about these red bumps popping up all over my body—you know, those ones that itch absolutely like crazy? She told me it’s stress-related, but then she casually dropped that it might actually be skin mites... honestly, just thinking about it gives me the chills.

The thing is, my kid and I have been dealing with these rashes for maybe two or three months now. At first, we were convinced it was chickenpox because my little one caught it first, so we thought maybe it was just some contagious itch passing between us.
But it just won't go away, and every single day there are new bites appearing, which is just heartbreaking because I hate seeing my child suffer like this.

Has anyone else gone through this? Please, if you have any advice, let me know... I really need help.

P.S. I honestly feel like it's all tied to my nerves, but I can't exactly "de-stress" when I'm currently out of work and feeling like I'm just spinning my wheels in life. I'm genuinely at a loss as to what these bites actually are.
I've spent so much time searching online and digging through forums, but it's still such a total mystery to me.

Any experiences to share? Please?

Man, I’m going through the exact same struggle. I’ve got these sores on both my forearms that just won't quit. Sometimes they itch like crazy, and other times it feels like this intense stinging or burning sensation—just when you think you're finally over the hump, they start spreading out again. I know deep down I shouldn't touch them while they're small, but honestly, once that itch kicks in, it’s pretty much impossible to stop yourself from scratching, which obviously just makes everything worse and helps them spread. You might want to try slathering some Petroleum on there and wrapping it up in plastic wrap, at least overnight.

Sometimes they just itch, but other times they burn and feel all hot and angry—just when you think they're finally backing off, they start spreading out again. I know I’m supposed to leave them alone while they're small, but honestly, sometimes the itching gets so intense that you lose control and end up scratching the hell out of them, which obviously just makes everything spread faster. You might want to try slathering some Petroleum on there and wrapping it in plastic wrap, at least overnight.
