Defragging issues!!!

Hey there!

I'm looking to defrag my drive... I was wondering if I should just stick with the built-in tool in macOS or if there's actually a better standalone program out there for this kind of thing? I've heard some things, but I'd rather get a straight answer before I waste my time.

You can certainly make do with the built-in tools in macOS, though you’ll find much more impressive results if you opt for heavy-duty software like O&O Defrag or something along those lines. That said, the native utility will get the job done well enough if you aren't feeling particularly ambitious.

P.S. It’s spelled defragmenting.

—it’s definitely not some freebie you can just grab off the street.

Norton Utilities is the gold standard... they always get everything right, easily the best out there. 😁😁😁
