Deleting posts from the "Foreign Affairs" thread

Why were my posts deleted just because I pointed out how certain interest groups have suddenly become so media-savvy regarding the debate over implementing the CIA?
I was simply commenting on those organizations and their recent rally specifically focused on that conflict.

I was just commenting on those groups and their gathering specifically centered on that dispute.

They were removed because things got a little messy for a moment and needed some tidying up. Feel free to repost them.

I realize things have spiraled into trolling lately, but my posts regarding those organizations had nothing to do with that nonsense (if we're talking about the trolling surrounding the deaths of clergy in Canada).

Once you realize someone's trolling, you see how they just wipe everything out by quoting the initial post over and over. A chain of quotes, maybe ten deep.

Just rewrite the post. It isn't an issue.

I wasn't actually quoting that specific part of the thread; my post was strictly about the agreements.
I was just wondering why those posts were deleted. I didn't see anything controversial in them, and frankly, it feels like a waste to have content scrubbed just because it became collateral damage in whatever nonsense started unfolding overnight.

There’s really no need for all that. I was simply curious about why they were removed in the first place. Since it seems you're fine with it, I'll just repost them if the conversation heads back in that direction.
