Does anyone have any solid advice for me...

I'm looking for a way to drop as much weight as possible in the shortest amount of time possible.

Honestly, I just want the pounds off—I don't even care if they come right back later.

If I could lose, say, 6 or 7 pounds in a single week, that would be perfect.

I actually tried a strict celery juice cleanse last year and managed to drop about 11 pounds in a week, but I ended up passing out from exhaustion, which was pretty terrifying.

Thanks.

Atkins 👍 ... people might try to tell you it's not the healthiest way to go, but I've been sticking to it for three weeks now and I'm already down 12 pounds (honestly, if I actually followed the rules strictly, I’d probably be down even more, but life happens 🙂). I've been taking a daily multivitamin just to make up for the fact that I'm cutting out carbs and fruit, but so far, the results have been incredible! 👍

Whenever I really need to drop some weight, I fall back on this specific diet I whipped up for myself, and honestly, it works every single time:

Breakfast: Just some Greek yogurt and maybe two or three pieces of dry toast—the small kind, not those huge slices you get at a diner.

Lunch: Usually some cottage cheese paired with whatever veggies are sitting in the fridge (like cucumbers and tomatoes with just a pinch of salt). If I’m feeling absolutely famished, I might grab one more piece of toast.

Or, if you're craving protein, you can go with some fish baked in foil or maybe some chicken. Just throw in whatever vegetables you actually like! Just a heads-up though: stay away from anything fried in grease. For me, I'll just boil some potatoes or whip up a quick fresh veggie salad.

Snack: Mostly just fruit. I used to live on nectarines, but since they're out of season right now, I'll just grab whatever fruit is available—usually about two pieces.

Dinner: A bowl of Cocoa Pebbles 😍 (or maybe just some yogurt)

I also went swimming while doing this, nothing crazy or intense, but it definitely helped move things along.

I tried that celery juice cleanse thing last year... lost about 10 pounds in a week, but I actually passed out once, so now I'm feeling pretty bad about it...

Cheers.

I pretty much stick to one simple rule: burn more than you eat. 😉
I really don't buy into those fad diets. You just need to watch what you put on your plate and stay active. The easiest way? Just walk a little faster. Once your heart rate hits that 100 to 110 range, you're starting to burn fat. Just keep in mind that any aerobic stuff needs to go on for at least 45 minutes to really kick in...
Oh, and one more thing: try not to mix proteins and carbs in the same meal.
And since you're a guy, it’ll probably be a bit easier for you anyway.
Good luck!

Start your day with an hour of aerobic exercise on an empty stomach. Cut out white bread, refined sugar, soda, and alcohol, and keep your fat intake to a minimum.

Maintain a regular routine of running or cycling, provided you do so in a fasted state during the morning.

??????? Look, everyone is different—early morning runs might be a perfect fit for some people, but definitely not for others. You have to remember that in the AM, your muscles just aren't as limber; your body hasn't even begun to warm up yet. For someone not used to it, slamming your system with intense cardio right after rolling out of bed can actually be quite a shock to the system...

In my experience... I’ll occasionally head out for an early run myself, but I find my joints handle evening workouts much better—plus, it's significantly easier to get a good stretch in before starting the session.....

PS (and this comes from someone who was seriously into athletics and spent years training at 5:30 AM—so please don't think I'm anti-morning exercise!)—but if we're talking general lifestyle advice, it's probably better to just say "move more and eat less."

I heard some claim that if you wear these special slippers for at least an hour a day, you'll drop about four pounds a week... 😎
