Direct Messages

We really need some assistance here.
The issue is we can't send direct messages to everyone.
It’s even blocking us from messaging certain moderators.
Nobody understands why this is happening, so we're turning to this group for help.

it’s totally possible that some folks just aren't using private messages to get a hold of people, you know? Like, maybe they actually went in and toggled that option off for whatever personal reasons they might have 🙂

We can't even send a direct message to the moderator over at Blue Wave PDF, and she’s just as confused as we are about why she was told to come to you to try and sort this out.

just head over to this link edit options.

Under the WhatsApp section, you really need to make sure you've got this checked: Enable Private Messaging.

Is that how your settings look right now?

Yes, sir.
And we have that checkbox enabled for "Savannah a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"

Honestly, I don't even get what the issue is at this point.
Maybe just try clearing out your browser cookies or something, might actually fix it, and then you can try hitting me up on WhatsApp.

I’m not entirely sure if this is the right spot to bring this up—I tend to lose track of the sub-forum rules sometimes—but I’ve got someone here on the forum harassing me via private message. Is there any way I can actually block them or file a formal report? I’m honestly not quite sure what my options are at this point.

Look, the inbox here is pretty tiny and super limiting, right? Is there any way to get my PM content sent straight to the email I used to sign up? Also, is there some kind of "log" or history I can check to see exactly which users I've been swapping messages with?
