Do you ever miss 2008?

Exactly.
There’s something about the sequence of these numbers that... works for me.😁
Then again, I spent way too much time waiting for 2008. A lot of good things happened back then, but looking back, the whole year just vanished.😕

Now we're staring down 2009. Honestly, looking at that number doesn't sit right with me. Before we know it, we'll be hitting 2012 and facing the end of the world like everyone else.🤷

There were just too many great moments back in 2008. At least for me.

Looking back, 2008 was more or less fine, though there isn't much to regret. If I had to pick something, I suppose I feel a certain nostalgia for the earlier years—maybe five or six years prior, somewhere around the turn of the millennium or early 2000s. My toughest stretch was definitely 2006 and 2007, mostly because I was dealing with some pretty intense health issues...

It happened, then it passed, just like everything else...🤷

No regrets, I guess. Maybe just a little bit because everything moves way too fast 🤷

I find myself mourning all that wasted time back in 2008—I’d give anything to go back and fix a few... hmmm, let's call them mistakes. All in all, it was an okay year, I guess... just another year in the books...
As for 2009, I'm actually feeling a bit anxious about it. So many things are reaching a turning point—or at least they should be... I'm supposed to graduate high school, head off to college, blah blah blah... regardless of how it turns out, there's going to be plenty of stress and nerves to deal with... 😠
